3.3TT Big Bore throttle body

I certainly appreciate everyone's thoughts and opinions, glad I purchased the Big Bore throttle body before I talked to everyone here more than likely you guys would have persuaded me not to buy it, I would never give false information on this site, in my opinion this purchase was well worth the money I spent.
no offense dude but you bought a part no one else has; and then claimed it has a bigger effect than parts others have bought that are dyno and draggy proven to provide real world gains. what did you think would happen? I dont think anyone is trying to bring you down, just understand more about how that could be possible.
 
No worries , I do appreciate everybody's opinions, you are 100% correct I did expect to get more questions and skepticism especially when I can't prove anything via Dino or quarter mile, I just simply wanted to let everybody out there know what I did in my opinions on the part I installed
 
Anyone else want to try this for science? Someone with a Dyno close by?

I would bet that it makes less whp/tq than a CAI.
 
You guys can do all the math and measuring you want all I can say is it is on my car and it makes a big difference, all my other Mods together didn't even give me close to the performance that I have now

Do you have dyno sheets to objectively prove what you said?

WAY back in the day - my first car ('84 Jetta GLI) - my B-I-L had a Weber throttle body that we installed. Instead of a small side and a big side, it was symmetrical and larger overall. I don't know if the curve changed at all, but it FELT faster. Like the power hit all at once instead of gradually. Turned the throttle much more into on/off than a range, though..
 
OP is a new member maybe he works for the company who makes the big bore throttle body lol....
 
Added a new sticker to the side skirt. Most power gained from the sticker based on my it dyno that I’ve ever felt. More than the JB4, intake, pure turbos, and Wagner intercooler combined.
 
Remember when SSR downpipe guy claimed 30hp. Everyone ordered, then later found out NO GAIN. Sorry not related at all to this thread.

This is not true, lol. I've dyno'd multiple stingers and there is an increase. I have posted two dynos to YouTube that show an increase of around 30hp. I have posted those same videos on this forum multiple times.

While I did get some gains, I have dyno plots that show zero organic gains. In fact, I lost torque with the pipes. Now, slap on a tune, and the net gain is there. But certainly not 30 whp.

Yea this isn’t true. There’s been proven gains from dyno sheets. U gotta search tho.
