Well, these are going on tomorrow. Can't wait to see how the car handles after. Anyone recently had experience with them?IMG_20240404_104021890_HDR.webp

Please, do a review on them.

I've been stalking these for awhile!! I really want to get your thoughts on them after you're install.

Dropping the car off this afternoon with a buddy here in Indy. Should be about to pick up tomorrow afternoon. I ordered them about a month ago and they finally came in this morning. I really hope they are worth it.

Those look pretty sweet.
Did you get the default spring rates? or custom?
I went with default springs for now. The Swift ones were available but too many people I talked to said the Swift springs aren't the way to go if you are daily driving the car and I am. Also, I believe the Swift springs would only be put on the fronts and no rears if you do them.

First opinion... If you are looking to go low, these aren't for you with the springs they come with. I'm on a 20x9 and 20x10.5 wheels set. 285/30/20 tire on the back. I was on eibach springs before these coilovers. The height of the wheel well from the ground was 26.5" and maybe the bc's will settle a bit, but set at max low height... 26.5" still.

Wow I have that wheel size with Reaction Coilovers and I set mine to 26" all around and could easily drop another couple of inches.
After they settle in and the Springs soften little there a much better ride.
I'm planning on going to 25.5" in front just for looks although currently I don't drag anywhere

I'll hope they settle and drop a bit more when they do, but yeah, max low is where they are set now.

My car sits nothing like the one in this pic that advertises the bc coilovers when they are cranked down to the lowest setting. Maybe they will settle, but I doubt they settle another full inch.

Those springs on the BC look pretty long (8"?), which is probably why they don't drop as low as other coilovers. Riation ships with 6.3" springs by default and I really did not like them. Too short and bottoms out too easily. I only lower my car a moderate amount to keep the suspension geometries out of trouble territory. So I actually prefer longer springs, which provide more max stroke and better load handling.

BTW, whomever told you Swift springs aren't for street don't know what they are talking about. Our G70 and Stinger are currently running 7" and 8" Swift respectively, and they work better than the cheap "stock" springs - both track and especially road.

And, yes, unless BC uses straight springs (not conical) with a seat adapter, you really can only upgrade the front coilover springs to Swift. That said, front is where NVH is most felt and where the suspension is most likely to bottom out, so there ae good reasons to upgrade fronts only, provided the rates are matched well to the rear.

Post some pics. And what is the driving impression?

I think it sits great. How is driving with them?

Did you measure the front spring's free length before installing? If not, quite often it is silkscreened right on the coil. Like here, 160-08 means 160mm free length and 8kg/mm.

Only had a little drive time last and on the way to work this morning. Not bad set at the mid point as far as the adjusters. Hopefully i can get out this weekend and get a better feel for what they are.

I started in the middle on the adjuster and just went up two clicks yep just drive and get the fell wait a week or so for the alignment.
I'm set at 0 camber front and 1 1/6 rear, after a year of hard driving my front tires look great even wear, rears do show some on the inside but I'm running 285/30/20 on that 10.5 rim so the camber let me tuck them with no rubbing

Yeah, I'll wait on the alignment. It really does sit about identical to what it was like on just springs. Never had a rear rub issue. Same tire you're on.

You guys are killing me. I've been thinking about getting coilovers. Partly because I want to be able to raise/lower by season (higher for winter, lower during warmer months) and also want a bit better suspension performance. Didn't really want to lower on springs because of the random issues some folks have with camber. Also not interested in slamming so low that I have to come to a crawl in repaving areas.

I was in a GT2 with BC's on them, lowered a bit, and the ride was rough as all hell. Bumps I didn't even see in the road felt like huge potholes. There's a stretch of highway here (at least about 50+ miles) where there's a consistent seam running across the road every 20-30 feet, almost like expansion joints on a bridge. Normally I hardly notice them. In this GT2 it was EXTREMELY noticeable and rather annoying. Now I know you can adjust the damping and it's possible they had them set that way on purpose.

Honestly I know little about coilovers but I would imagine with my current setup (aftermarket wheels are fronts: 19X8.5 +35 rears: 19X9.5 +40, Continental DWS 06+ Fronts: 245/40/19 Rears: 275/35/19) I think I should be fine. Mainly looking to close the gap a bit but still maintain a decent ride. I'm ok with it being a little rougher than stock but not overly so.
