Got myself (well, my company got itself) a Stinger GT yesterday!

Micro Blue — soooo sexy.

Have seen two others in Sydney, a white one around Parramatta and a red one around North Parramatta (saw today at Shell / KFC on Cumberland Highway).

Can’t make the meet as I will be working :/ But, look forward to meeting up soon!

What’s the link for the Facebook group? I can’t seem to find it

Hahaha, I was a high school Physics and Chemistry teacher for 10 years, hence the username!

It’s my first company car, so didnt really replace anything as such, but I have been driving a 2015 Holden Captiva (affectionately known as the ‘Craptiva’) for the last 3 years!

I pick up my Pearl White Stinger GT this Thursday from the dealer in Chadstone (Melbourne). Any tips or tricks that I should know about? Also, I have the iPhone X and am curious about the Qi wireless charging and integration into the car for Apple Carplay: can it go over bluetooth for apple carplay or do I have to use the USB cable to make that work?

Regardless, if there is a meet scheduled in Melbourne let me know as I would love to speak with other Stinger drivers about the car since I'm just now getting mine.

Tips and trick you will have to fish thru threads. Watch the heat in wireless charging area as there have been reports of heating issues in transmission tunnel. not sure about carplay but i know android play requires usb connection to work.
Try and add where you come from into your profile details and get a cool avatar set asap. Look at ypur profile icon on top right of the page and click on it to change edit.

Do not have a wireless charging mobile, but i dropped my LG G4 and shattered the glass, which is being held together by the screen protector, maybe its time to upgrade to wireless charging..haha.

So let me see if I've got it right......I need an Apple phone for the hands-free messaging/wireless charging, I need to replace my polaroid sunglasses to see the HUD properly, I have to make sure I don't have anything hanging off my belt which might scuff the leather when I get in/out, and I need to take my driver out of my golf bag to get it in the boot. Got it!
This is a step up from my Bolens ride-on! Can't wait.
