• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Australia Stinger Meet!

Roger, are you north or south of the river? I live in Willetton.
I'm North and have a friend through work with a white GT who is not on the forum but may also be interested in a meet

Ok let’s wait a bit til a few more people join ad take it from there. Get you friend to join too. Did he own a white jag which he traded for Stinger?

I don’t have Facebook. Yes I’m old!

Hell - I thought I was the only one with no Facebook, congrats. Now beat this - I don't have a cell phone either!

How about a swarm of stingers....
My wife informs me that her "Research" has found a group of Scorpions (Closest to Stingers) is known as a "Cyclone"

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Boy this thread got sidetracked quickly, from potential meets to collective noun for stingers....lol hope I got that right....:geek:
BTW, I also don’t do Facebook.

Here in Melbourne, i have so far not seen even one Stinger on the road..haha
Not seen another in Melbourne either - nor between Melbourne and Sydney during a very long drive there and back via Porepunkah (3 times between Melb and Porepunkah in the one week) but I'm amazed at the number of people who ask what it is (non Kia badges). Someone asked "Is it American?" But I'm equally surprised by the number of people who know exactly what it is. I think the best compliment was my partners very elderly Aunt who said "that's a very nice looking car....."

Agree with the comments. I had an old guy in a shopping centre the other day say I don't know what sort of car that is but it has very nice lines!

I would be down for a meet up for NSW, I might have mentioned ages ago about whether there would be track days or anything but a meet up would be nice. In Newcastle I have only seen 2 besides mine.
Hey chill check out post on Nsw aust day meet.

Good question. I would also head straight there from Newcastle. Given I would be bringing the little ones, getting there on time will probably be wishful thinking

Well done guys for setting this up. I don’t think WA has enough owners yet to do a meet. Maybe mid year. Hope your day goes well! Expect lots of pics!
