Anyone get the bumper vent DRL LEDs?

I don't personally have them but a lot of members do and have nothing but good things to say about them. That set in particular is built using OEM level quality parts. I'm pretty sure the CK71 lights you have in your link are on backorder due to shortages, so if you decide to order them I would check with the supplier first to ensure they can even get you a set.

Yup, nothing but good things. Chris (who hand makes each set) is the best with after sales support as well, and offers a warranty. :)

I decided to take the plunge. That's a total of $1100 on lighting this last week. I think I'm out of control.

What else did you buy??

BUT..... the more out of control you go, the better everyone else feels about their little spends. So, you're kinda helping people in a way.

( I'm trying to help here ).

Do the CK71's have a wire harness connector on each side so that you can still remove the bumper after they're installed? I don't think the cheap eBay ones have one so that would make bumper removal annoying.

Yes each side has a connector that you can disconnect to remove the bumper.

Turned my car on today and mine looked like this. Anybody else have this issue? I've been running the CK71 lights for only about a year and a half now.

Glitch or do I have lights out? Didn't have time to turn off/on again before I had to be into work this morning.

Water ingress?
Not sure?
Last car wash I had was on Saturday but I didn't do much driving to notice it until today. Guess I'll see what it looks like this afternoon on my way home.

I have a liquid in mine, both sides. Haven't checked to see what it looks like on though. Only reason I didn't put them on the door sale thread!

How long you had them? Is that a common issue with these you think?

1.5 years or so. No idea if that is a common issue. They aren't full anymore, but you can still see the left overs.

For what these cost I don't think that should be happening after a year and a half. That's about the same amount of time as I had mine. I had a shop put mine in since I'm not very knowledgeable about wiring. Wanted them wired so that they'd only be on when either the headlights were on or when turning. So "in theory" the bulbs would last even longer since they aren't on all the time.

Guess I didn't account for moisture getting in there that fast. I wonder if they have some kinda warranty? We can't be the only ones with this issue.

I'm assuming (by your signature) that you sold your car?

Yeah, stuff came up. I confirmed that I ordered them in Jan 2022, so just about two years. The website has a no questions asked warranty for six months, and cost plus 10% between 6-12 months.
