Another Racechip review

Tonkabob, about your spark ⚡️ plugs, how many degrees cooler are your plugs :??) my Denso plugs are 1 degree colder than stock :) as you are running on the flash tune :)
I was using 1 degree colder hks, but wanted a bigger gap so now 1 degree (or is it 1.5?) colder densos.
 
I'm at .026-.028. Only jb4 recommends the .022. I had tried .022 briefly due to an issue with my ecu tune that turned out to be over boost on shifts which got fixed. So back up to .026 - .028.

I know that performance is the main thing here, but have you noticed if fuel economy has changed ? They advertise 10 - 15% better milage using the chip when daily driving.

I have noticed that it improved a little bit daily driving. I have gotten up to almost 26mpg on the comfort setting.
 
Bumped it up from 15.4mpg (DD in sport) to ~17.8mpg! Anything works for me at this point :D
 
Older thread bump.......I'm in the market possibly for a RC ......you guys still happy?

Agreed. .24 gapped, 93 octane. Love the whole experience.
 
If you want something simple no tinkering the RC is high quality super solid. If you like to tinker and want room for growth go jb4. Jb4s fuel control makes it faster and can add wmi later if you decide to go that route.
I never thought id go wmi but never say never. Stinger loves the meth...
ECU tune is another good set it and forget it option.

I'm a noob.....how much fuel efficiency and hp will the top RC add? I'm not trying to track mine ....

Here's the increase in torque and HP from my Racechip on race mode and sport. Running with k&n intakes only

I've only used Chevron with techron 93 !
Up here in Kelowna BC Canada the Shell Vpower 91 works much better that the Chevron 94 , so I will now use the 91 Shell gas up my way , and the local tuner shops up here in Kelowna recommendation was to run Shell Vpower 91 , the US gas is far better quality than over here in BC :)
