Still happy with mine RC chip no complaints , all troubles I have had were due to crappy gas quality, now for the last month or so since changing to Shell V Power, no more problemsOlder thread bump.......I'm in the market possibly for a RC ......you guys still happy?
So I think you just confirmed that you don't have an ecu tune. To fix your issue they must have flashed you back to stock.Just adding the Race chip App was my best decision, had a few updates and remapsall work perfectly well
Here is my latest DynoCom Dyno report one just with a mild tune and second with RC on with it and checked out by the local tuner here in Kelowna BC Canada Starting with tune plus RC 409 Awd whp plus 508 lb-ftlbs torqueand still safe

The biggest problem Tim was the Crappy gas here in BC Canada the Tune per day was mild yes ,So I think you just confirmed that you don't have an ecu tune. To fix your issue they must have flashed you back to stock.
Hey there, just touching base to see if you're still running your race chip, if you've made any other mods since then, and your experience and opinion has been over the Long Haul including any problems? Also what do you recommend in terms of fuel and spark for running the most aggressive Street strip tune. We just ordered the race chip with the app and they now call the GTS their top-of-the-line. We have a stock 19GT1 rear wheel drive. Thanks in advance. If you have the RC w/app you can ask them to upgrade Race Mode to Map 7. I’ve had luck with them being responsive. You can email their support or reach out on the RC thread. To be honest, I just call their Germany support number and talk to a rep very quickly, however that is expensive unless you have an international plan.
As for anyone telling you telling you to sell the RC, just ignore that. The Chip works great and I’ve had no issues with the cold plugs HKS. In Map 7 it added 73hp and 125 ft-lbs Torque. Best of luck. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Here is my map 6 run with a 2021 awd gt on all season tires with salty roads (recapped stock plugs, diy intakes, borla catback). I was running map 7 but shitty winter 93 had some trouble up top.
Yeah it seems like even with the traction advantage it's not as fast as a rwd. I'm getting 4.25s on mapLooks like you had a good run with your RC , Awd GT seem to be slower , I really like the chip for sure , gas quality was my biggest problem here in Kelowna BC
I'm about to return my RC and get the app supported one so I can run a modified 100 octane map 7I was happy with RC performance, but wanted more so I went with Tork Stage 2 tune. Working on refining it.
I’m in Cali and don’t have easy access to anything above 91. I used 91 + enough boostane to take the Octane level to 95/96. I always ran on Map 7 race mode and even had RC make it slightly more aggressive. As for plugs I used HKS and left them at the default gap .028. My timing was about 16
As for performance mods I have pretty much everything
HKS pkugs
Tork Intakes
Snorkel
UP FMIC
Borla cat-back
Snow Stage 2 meth - 80/20 methanol/water
I was working with RaceChip on getting more out of the chip but we had some delays and I decided to go with Tork. If interested, I would recommend reaching out to Austin Funk at RaceChip
I only had the RS RaceChip with App which with the light tune worked ok , with a change in the App I was able to the RC and run the tune by itself/) Right now I have sent my ECU to TORK Motorsports to have a spare set up with a TOrk tuneYeah it seems like even with the traction advantage it's not as fast as a rwd. I'm getting 4.25s on map
