Trying to get a feel for how black wheels will look on my car.

I think it's time to book that powder coat.

As much as I'd love to buy aftermarket, I've never had luck with them rolling true.

Since we have the same color. And you are talking OEM wheels...

I'm sure you already posted, but I missed it - where did you get yours done? Cost?

Although I’m not 100% happy with the outcome. It seemed a bit odd to have such a rapid turnaround (less than 24 hours). I suspect they didn’t prep very well. I have sections that seem to be loose from the wheel (you can push on it like there is a gap). No break/tear in the powder coat. Just not adhering to the wheel. Like a mold.

That and they seem to chip easy (very small ... less than 1 mm)

In the winter, I’ll have them redo them as warranty.

They were powder coated by the same company - but in Ottawa. They kept the car from a Tuesday, and I picked it up Friday evening after work. They told me it's a 2-3 day process to make sure it really stays. All is good so far. :)

My car is also wrapped with gloss black Vinyl. I wrapped the hood, pillars, and roof.

I love the look of Stock rims being powder coated black - looks good on a Red Stinger OP :)

I swear you suffer from altitude sickness some days , ocupational hazard I suppose ..............Baw !

Did something else too... Took off the exhaust tips and did a metallic black on them.

Btw, you do need to drop the axle back to remove these.
