car is at 92,500 miles and have a few issues. the metal piece that is attached to the door frame and goes into the door is making a clicking noise every time the door is opened or closed, passenger mirror not floding in when parked, and a #4 misfire no mods park plug has marks from the spark going down the outside of plug replaced plug and put dielectric grease on the inside of the boot. al these issues will be covered under warranty

That's not a long list of issues, so far. Thanks for sharing.

What trim level is it? How does the leather on the seats look?

It's a gt2. seats look real good I did have the driver side bolster replaced at 25,000 miles, rotors replaced at 13,000 miles and some cracked paint on rain diverters on the roof

Aha, the list of imperfections grows. ;)

I'm on the same page. This is not only the most expensive car (thousands more than we paid for our house!!??), it's my only brand new car. I have faith in Kia.

yes my first brand new, always had to buy used. however in 2 more years I hope to buy new again but less money maybe a K5

You would drop down to a K5? "Inconceivable!" :p

How many miles do you average per year?

Damn, that's a shit ton of miles. I doubt I will be able to get to 100,000 miles in 10 years even.

Kia has been "stepping it up" for well over ten years now. The Stinger was showing what Kia can do. Then they brought out the Telluride and orders are months behind. :D

I am usually selling my cars before the 100k miles and it would take me more than 10 years anyway to reach that mark....
Time and low mileage / city mileage is more damagable vs high / highway mileage.

Great to see that the Stinger have been somewhat reliable to you so far.

If I kept up my current driving numbers, I'd be at 100k in about 5 years. However, with the girlfriend moving closer next year, it should drastically cut back on mileage. Thanks for the report! Good to know most everything is okay.
