So does anyone know the stock rim dimensions on a 2018 gt2 that came with the 18 inch rim/square set up? I'm assuming they're 18 x 8 with a 40mm offset. Seems like most people here got 19in stock with a staggered setup but people more north like me got 18s with a squared set up.

Let me refer you to "The Chart"

From what I understand, stock wheels are the following measurements:

18 inch Square: 18x8 225/45/18 ET34

19 inch Staggered: Front - 19x8 225/40/19 ET34, Rear - 19x8.5 255/35/19 ET46.5

A bump for Wheel Front lol

punch in your info and enjoy the eye candy
What would I do without you?!?!? :D

Not to diminish the opinion of your girlfriend, but she's wrong. I've seen plenty of white Stingers with black, gold, bronze, even red wheels.

White wheels are a nightmare to clean (just spent an entire summer cleaning brake dust off white Plastidiped wheels). Silver or grey wheels are pretty common, but would be nice on white. Save the chrome wheels for your 1993 Corvette and Harley Fat Boy cruise night.

Check out these galleries for examples: Fitment Industries Gallery and Wheel Front Gallery

The stock wheels are fine, but they are heavy af. Totally worth it to get rid of them for something more stylish and lighter. If you just want to change the color, I recommend Plastidip.

Haha you're fine! I tell her how she's wrong from time to time. I believe in equality! ;)

Thanks for the link btw!!! :D

I was looking at these super light gold/brown wheels but she says I will look like I'm driving one of those wannabe gangster cars! lmfao! :p

I like these wheels a lot because they're much lighter than my OEM wheels and look really sick! :D

Too bad my girlfriend thinks those wheels are for gangsters - plus they're pretty pricey! :(
Ooooo - those are nice. I like the copper color. I think that would match really well with the smoke chrome accents on the car IMO.

Under $300 per wheel is a good price.

Black wheels always look better in person than in photos.

Might look into them... they wouldn't mess up the off set or reduce performance right? That's my biggest concern is getting wheels that actually slow my car down or lower my MPG lmfao! :p

That's a lot of reading, but like the other thread says "wheel and tire sizes can be...confusing." Outside of the necessary specs, the choice to go staggered or square is your choice. I've always assumed the AWD models all got square 18x8 - 255/45 setups, but I guess not given the tire specs you gave.

The benefits of a staggered setup really benefits RWD cars because you obviously want to maximize the available tire contact patch on the two wheels that put all the power down. This should be less of a problem with AWD because all wheels are doing the work. I understand the Stinger is RWD bias system, but the computer is going to send grip where it finds it among the four wheels for AWD. The most important thing for AWD cars is to keep the diameter of the tires the same (or very close <3%), which is where you get into a fun game of matching tire width and recommended wheel width.

I just purchased a new set of wheels and tires (F: 8.5x19-225/40 R: 9.5x19-255/35)and thought the 255 would look too stretched on a 9.5 rim, but after installing it on the car, I love it. Now the front and rear have a similar sidewall stretch and look fantastic.

I would recommend talking to @GetYourWheels if you have more questions.

The Braelin BR10's don't look bad btw. They look similar to the Variant Radon
OK, so sounds like you have the exact setup I'm looking at (except for offset) and you're happy - thanks for that! Yeah, I like the colour of the BR10s (not black, but pretty dark and hopefully a close match to the black chrome). We don't have the same selection up here in the Great White North, it seems. I'm used to looking at US sites online and then zipping over to Port Huron, MI to make a purchase ... but the border closure has cramped my shopping choices!

Thanks to all for the input, I appreciate it! :)

These forums are amazing! :D

Happy hunting and shopping for wheelz for your ride! :D

Also, I know I read somewhere in this thread that the stock rear tires would be too 'stretched' on a 19x9.5 rim, but read somewhere else that they'd be fine.
I dunno. Does this 255/35 look stretched on a 9.5 wheel to you?

I don't know?? I'm just a gurl

And maybe I read the 'stretched' part about some other size tire and/or wheel, everything I've been reading is starting to meld together. Sorry ...
I wasn't asking if you "know", I was asking for an aesthetic opinion. :D Do you like the look or not? Then either 9.5 wide and 255/35 tires works for you or it doesn't.

Yeah, they look amazingly awesome!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Well, there you go then. Shop for 9.5 wide wheels in the rear and use the OE Michelins. :D That rim will take up to a 275 wide tire; depending on offset, it should clear and not poke. I keep using the OE tire sizes for staggered setup, not because of looks, but because my tire and wheel guys selected this set of wheels to suit: they said that a wider wheel would stiffen the sidewalls and make cornering more dynamic. I believe they were right about that.

Hey, I’m planning on getting:
Fast FC04 Titanium
20x8.5 +35 and 20x9.5 +35
Michelin PS AS3+ 245/35/20 and 285/30/20

Would 285s not fit on a 9.5” wheel?

Is anyone here running Forgestar F14 wheels in Bronze burst? I’m also thinking about spending a bit more money to get them. I’ve gotten quotes of $2500 CDN for 20x9 +? and 20x10.5 +?

Also, what offsets would be a flush fitment with those sizes on stock suspension? +30 and +45?

Let me refer you to my reference of a chart. It's more of a table really, but it still checks out.

Very cool wheels. Surprised I haven’t seen them on a Stinger yet.

Just ordered these and I'm silly excited. I couldn't find anyone else running white wheels on a white stinger.
