But you don't think that by varying both the inches and the original et we vary a lot the original tread of the car or I'm wrong
Yeah, but you have a lot of choice, pick a 19” staggered setup from the spreadsheet that suits your need, and find wheels that size. Every manufacturer provides different specs, so unless you’re getting the exact wheel as someone else or getting a custom wheel, your options may be limited.

Use the links provided in the spreadsheet to look at wheel fitment on wheel-size.com, and plug in your tire size on the website if what you’ve found has different tires

Ok if I agree, I think the best option for me is to choose front 19x8.5 / 9 and behind 19x9.5 / 10, I must choose the ET well, surely the tires will be the xxr 559.

Yup, if you want to keep the stock tires, just make sure that the tires will fit that width. Personally, I think the 225 we have on the front 8" stock wheels are already a little too narrow. If you put 225 on an 8.5" (should be ok), or 9" (might be pretty stretched), double check wheel-size.com to see how that's going to look. I think either should be fine temporarily, but I would suggest that when you eventually replace those tires, you should get ones that fit better. 245 front / 275-295 rear is what most people are running with wider wheels.

Trying to figure out if Niche Targa 18x8 +40's with stock tires will fit my GT. It's the stock size but a lot of fitment guides on different sites say they don't fit (but I've also found wheels in this thread that for sure fit that fitment guides say don't fit so I take that info with a grain of salt). I thought it was because of the Brembo's but it says they don't fit the base model either so I can't figure out what's going on. Center bore is the only thing that's not stock (but it's larger so no big deal with some rings). I can't find any site that says they fit but I can't figure out why?

The widest the stock tires 225/40/19 and 255/35/19 will fit according to the manufacturer is 9" front and 10.5" rear. YOu can stretch beyond this but you risk a bead failure which isn't worth it. I have the XXR 559s 19x8.5 +20 and 19x10 +40 and it fits perfect and looks good with stock tires

What's the tire size? Do you have the Brembos?

Stock 225/45/18 and Brembo's since it's a GT. I know the tires and wheel size/offset fits (it's the same as stock). I just don't know if they will clear the calipers.

I know that a) TSW Sprint 20x8.5+40 fits but TSW doesn't recommend it and it's very tight, 8.5+40 is also more inset than an 8+40, which should provide some more clearance (1/4"), but being an 18", and different spoke shape, harder to tell. I bet it would fit, but test fit before mounting tires. Think it's pretty close to the limit.

Oh, wait; it has that center mount valve, you've gotta get a stubby and even then it might not clear the caliper, I'd be wary of that fitment

Ah, good catch on the valve placement, though it seems to move around in the pics (presumably related to wheel size) so I can't tell if the 18x8's have the wrong valve placement or not.

My backup plans are below but again, can't find any concrete info that they will fit (but some fitment guides indicating they won't). Obviously any problems with fitment will be related to caliper clearance to spokes or valve but that seems to be impossible to figure out without test fitting (and I'm not wasting a bunch of money sending wheels back and forth that don't fit).

Can't you find a professional wheel shop and get them to look at this fitment job? I know that "my" local wheel guys would be able to look up the array of rims that I want and select the best ones. So, if you have your heart set on a particular rim and want to know if it will work, they could tell you. Yes or no.

Offsets look good on these, especially the 8+30s, wouldn't expect any issues there

Everyone seems to have plenty of knowledge about fitting 19's and 20's and what works and what doesn't but the 18's seem to be a new thing for any of the shops I've contacted. I'd prefer 19's but it's my wife's daily driver and she's not interested in spending an extra $1000 for new tires when she's got 18" tires on it now with 1000 miles on them so we're stuck with 18's.
