Very nice Merlin!! Love the look.View attachment 20141 View attachment 20142 View attachment 20143 View attachment 20144 View attachment 20145 View attachment 20146 View attachment 20147Wheel Werks are the Bomb! Ordered my TSW "Watkins" Double Black on Monday; they said they'd be here sometime on Wednesday; they called this morning, said I could get them on this morning! Yeah! I was away before noon, back on my Michelin Pilot summer tires. And my OEM GT rims are there getting powder coated glossy black; and they might be done by Friday. Here's the empty hatch, ready to receive either these very cool wheels and their summer tires, or, the OEM Gt rims and Nitto Motivo A/S if I decide that the weather is going to cooperate enough to leave my summer tires on till next winter; in which case, I'll transport the Motivos and GT rims to my shed.

They are. And 8.5" in the front, 9.5" in the rear, so a half inch wider than the OEM GT rims in front and an inch wider in the back. Are they 19"??
Yes. Fear. I already distrust the amount of high aspect ratio that the GT Stinger has with the staggered 19s. Wheel Werks said they look at the psi recommendation on a car, and if it is lower than 40 psi they will put 40 psi all around to add a bit more protection against potholes and the like. Makes sense to me! A 20" rim would be that much closer to getting pranged. Is there a reason why people stay with 19" instead of going 20"?
Lol. These look a ton better than stock. The OEM GT rims are beautiful on all Stingers. But black rims look dramatic, bold, sinister or menacing on a lot of cars; which is why they are so popular these days. I am having my OEM rims powder coated glossy black for another reason, though: it will make touch up of scratches, nicks and scrapes easier than sanding and buffing/polishing alloy. I figured if I am going black during the winter, and since I like the effect especially on my Silky Silver, why not do likewise with a set of rims for all that good weather the rest of the year? That way I don't have to swap tires on one set of rims; and I can adapt to the season in a matter of minutes.I still don't understand. Why buy aftermarket wheels if a). You're worried about potholes? and b). Look no better than stock?
Not hardly! The thinner the sidewall, the closer the rim is to the implacable road. The fear of potholes and damage is silly though.
If it's for function like having wheels for different seasons then that's a good idea. Looks are subjective though but I'm guessing most people would prefer bigger wheels with proportioned sidewalls (nothing under 35r20's for example). The fear of potholes and damage is silly though.

I think you meant Guys? Unless you're pin pointing someone. Danke.gays c'mon wheels are a matter of taste, thats why this thread is this big.
and I'm going 19" for damn sure, so I don't have to buy new fking expensive tires. idk what tires cost on your end of the world but here I have to pay at least 800-900€ and I'm not Feeling that
@MerlintheMad do you think 9" would fit in the front? because I love the concave look on the rear
Have you scrolled back through the thread? I definitely mentioned offsets in my original post. This could be the first wheel thread I've ever seen where no one mentions offsets.
I understand if your just grabbing a Pic from the net but if your adding your own car could you please include offsets!
