Yeah BlueGT got 11.99 on just ecu/tcu of lozic. But had an aftermarket intercooler only.
Welp, I dont have my car currently to test, so hopefully I get it back soon!Possible to get into 11s with Gennys set up Id assume. 11.8-11.9, guess depends on weather/gas as well.
I think Ive seen some draggys of 1/4 of lozic set ups with basic bolt ons (intakes) get into high 11s iirc
You should deff be in 11s with all that youre gonna add.Welp, I dont have my car currently to test, so hopefully I get it back soon!
How can a FWD car pop wheelies like that?
So once I learn the car more and get the downpipes on, I may be able to get around the same time, just not as repeatedly, as I still have a stock intercooler.Oh nvm Hoosierstinger takes the cake
The Magic of race gas!How can a FWD car pop wheelies like that?
Explains nothing. Physically impossible to crouch in the rear when propelled from the front. The Magic of race gas!
Merlin. it was sarcasm lol. its a hellcat swapped prius. its not a stock drivetrain. its RWD. You can see it plain as day in the video hahaExplains nothing. Physically impossible to crouch in the rear when propelled from the front.
I know it's RWD. I just wanted to have someone else say it. Is it a dragster community thing to call a car by its body and ignore the rest?Merlin. it was sarcasm lol. its a hellcat swapped prius. its not a stock drivetrain. its RWD. You can see it plain as day in the video haha
The body of the car is pretty much what defines most vehicles to make them identifiable. that's pretty much a regular car thing as far as I am aware. Nobody would say "OH MY GOD THATS THE 3.3 TWIN TURBO GASOLINE DIRECT INJECTIED LAMBDA 2 CAR WITH CONFIGURABLE ALL WHEEL OR REAR WHEEL DRIVE!?!?" would they? cuz that could describe the Stinger, G70, and I think a few of the Genesis SUV's.I know it's RWD. No problem, I appreciate the words and I'll try to provide you some insight.Yeah, my wording was awful. no doubt about that. My apologies.
I have yet to be down the track in my stinger unfortunately. it was closed for the season by the time I actually started pushing more power. The reason I said that is cuz I have a fairly similar setup currently, but with an exhaust as well (though downpipes are coming) and I was hoping to be in the mid to high 11's. I guess I will have to tame my expectations a bit.
My comment was more about the level of competition from Honda that day. I never said that was a PB with that setup. For perspective, my best run that day was 12.19.
I didn't even mention fuel.No problem, I appreciate the words and I'll try to provide you some insight.
With the mods I see listed on your car, you should hit mid-11s. Weather plays a huge role in how your car is going to perform that day. Your car is actually significantly more modded than mine, both when I ran and even now. Wheels and tires play a huge roll in times. My 12.19 is on stock wheels and all season tires and I leave the spare in the car. To give you an idea of how hard the car has to work, each wheel weighs 32 lbs. Primary downpipes seem to show a huge increase in power gained on these vehicles, so you should really be able to get to that time in your sleep.
Next, cars take time to adapt to changes. Tires, suspension, but especially tunes. My tune was in my car for a total of 2 days and 150 miles (back and forth to track, then down the track) before going down the track on and posting that 12.19. Car started mellowing out after 300 miles were put on it.
E/Ts are about the driver, trap speed will tell you about the car. If I were you, I would focus on that number more so that the E/T has context. Going to a dragstrip and launching a vehicle for the 50th time vs 4th is going to be very different in terms of understanding your vehicle and it's response to the track. I was very much closer to the 4th time.
Your wording wasn't good, but your reading on that post suffered too. If you read my post, I said:

I think you can achieve the times you have mentioned. Best advice is to spend time with the car and invest in cooling. Factory IC is not sufficient for multiple runs. It's good enough to handle 1-2 good runs and then it needs a long time to cool down.
Thank you for the insight! I don't expect to be running Super quick at first. The downpipes I have but are not on the car yet (though, nothing is on my car yet for the most part TBH, it doesn't even have a running engine in it currently) I fully expect to have to take my car to NED several times before I get the hang of really launching it correctly. My best times when I have had the car have been via draggy on really, really cheap All season tires (Thanks Fette Infiniti in NJ) and with just the JB4, I was spinning all 4 wheels on launch till about 40 because of how little traction they had. I have a set of indy 500's for this summer that should provide MUCH better traction on launch and just in general. No problem, I appreciate the words and I'll try to provide you some insight.

Drain the tank on the way to the track, put a couple gallons of race fuel in the car, hope for the best, right? right?I didn't even mention fuel.![]()
There's actually a Stinger with a 100 octane tune. I'm not sure what it's doing for E/Ts. I've added a gallon or 2 to 93 in the past on this car and the time was not significant enough more me to spend $10/gal. E-mixes seem to be better bang for buck or even WMI.Drain the tank on the way to the track, put a couple gallons of race fuel in the car, hope for the best, right? right?![]()
Well im not sure what kinds of gas they actually sell at NED, but if they do sell e85 there at the pump, trying an e30 mix could be interesting. There's actually a Stinger with a 100 octane tune. I suggest getting it before you go. I don't believe they sell E85.Well im not sure what kinds of gas they actually sell at NED, but if they do sell e85 there at the pump, trying an e30 mix could be interesting.
Neither does anywhere else in new hampshire. We are an e85 free state, which sucks.I suggest getting it before you go. I don't believe they sell E85.
