A Couple of Annoying Things

So I am just under 1600 miles in and there are just a couple of things that are either annoying or I think could be better.
1. 360 Camera. It might just be me here, but I don't know how accurate the cameras are when using it. I've used a 360 camera in a Nissan Altima (or was it a Maxima?) and that thing was awesome! I only needed to look at that camera and nothing else. I find I have to use all the camera views in the Stinger. Maybe its the positioning of the cameras??

2. Exhaust Note. Ok, I know this has probably been beaten to death, but when I saw the review of the Forte GT2 with its throaty exhaust note on a turbo 4, it makes me question even more what was Kia thinking when it came to the Stinger??

Hopefully, these two things, and others improve with time! Anything else that annoys you with your Stinger!!?

Quiet cabin, that's what Kia was thinking when they conceived the Stinger as a Gran Turismo. It's not a muscle car.

360 camera is useful but definitely one of the worst I've used, I too find myself toggling back and forth to get the best view of curbs and still manage to hit one every now and then.

Ehhh...I don't know. I guess it's all relative, since all cars have at least a little bit of muscle. But in the context of muscle cars, where we're seeing vehicles leaving the factory with 500-800 hp the "muscle" of the Stinger is kind of like comparing a physique model to a 2015 Phil Heath.

Ehhh...I don't know. I guess it's all relative, since all cars have at least a little bit of muscle. But in the context of muscle cars, where we're seeing vehicles leaving the factory with 500-800 hp the "muscle" of the Stinger is kind of like comparing a physique model to a 2015 Phil Heath.

The point is, the "muscle" is quiet because the cabin is supposed to be quiet on a Gran Turismo. If the Stinger had been a noisy experience on my test drive, I would have walked away: it would have put the lie to the promo book hype about a "true GT" being all about the comfortable, luxurious, quiet ride.

Another coincidence. I'm hoping my mother will pass before the end of the month. She will be better off (we all will) if she doesn't hang on till Xmas. Heh! She keeps "plateauing" at lower levels; we think she's going to die, "this time", and her danged stubborn crumpled shriveled old body "decides" it can soldier on for a while longer. The last couple of days she's been unresponsive almost all the time.

If you want to talk about your mom's passing, you can either PM me or talk here with friends. I never get annoyed at thread derails, especially when they are justified. @Kr33m0 might have a differing opinion and if he says "please don't" I'll respect that.

I'm good , but thanks Merlin , she passed away 6 days after being diagnosed with terminal Leukemia ( 92 ) she was strong , stoic and dignified , truly a blessing the way she passed , lost Dad 16 months ago so it's just a bit sad this Christmas but I'm fine ! No need for turning this into anything , I hope you get your wish Merlin , long prolonged deaths are such a burden !
