Same here! I've test driven the premium AWD, GT AWD and GT2 AWD. The GT AWD was ruled out due to lack of features and the ride was not as smooth as the GT2. The GT2 was knocked out based on price. I almost pulled the trigger on the premium AWD (and still might) but at the last minute backed out. The GT1 appears to be the sweet spot but they are being snatched up quick in my area! So we'll see what's available end of summer.low 30k Base: I got a great deal but I settled for the cheapest model.
high 30k Premium: I got all the cool features but not the power.
high 30k GT base: I got the performance and the better look but not the features.
decisions... (still shopping)
GT1 is a good compromise, after adding the tech package it's still $4k less than the GT2. That's the route I took.Same here! I've test driven the premium AWD, GT AWD and GT2 AWD. The only real Achilles heel for the GT1 seems to be the unavailability of an LSD for that trim--at least in the U.S.GT1 is a good compromise, after adding the tech package it's still $4k less than the GT2. That's the route I took.
Yes, now why do you think Kia makes it available on the GT and GT2 but not the GT1?GT1 is a good compromise, after adding the tech package it's still $4k less than the GT2. That's the route I took.
Then again, we don't get snow here in Florida and I don't race, but I still like the power. Very little pedal pressure to merge on I95 and never lose traction.Yes, now why do you think Kia makes it available on the GT and GT2 but not the GT1?
I'd say Kia corporate is definitely reviewing their rollout choices and the responses they've received as a result. As to whether or not that translates to actual revisions remains to be seen....Yes, now why do you think Kia makes it available on the GT and GT2 but not the GT1?
