52 year old Grandma...am I too old for this car?

Question- What is the proper tire pressure for my Michelin Sport 4's on my Stinger GT2? Thanks in advance

It's on the sticker on the driver door jamb.

I've been driving Cadillac for almost 20 years...CTS then ATS which I loved...then SRX to fit grandkids strollers. Found the Stinger GT2...test driving bl
ue. I love this car...but is this blue just too young a look for a grandma?? Would White be
more age appropriate? I love lighter interior...so I'm struggling with age and color...help!
Blues awesome- was love at first site. Go for it & love it! Keep us posted!

Go for it, @JCranford83! At 52, you're just getting started.

I'm an "old-ish" guy (past 60), and have a Snow White Pearl Stinger. I love how it looks and it's a blast to drive.

I bet you're too young to remember this Jan & Dean song from 1964 (I prefer the Beach Boys/Dean Torrance version):

welcome to the forum young lady. the mrs is older than me, and i am 50 (yes, she likes younger men. hahahahaahaha) get the yellow. also, you are never too old, my wife burns rubber, drifts (unintentionally of course) and is a general hooligan when driving. she went from a mustang to this. burn rubber!!!!!!!!

I for one can't get enough of that song, maybe because I terrorize Colorado Blvd. at least once a week in my Snow White Pearl.

That song came out the year before i was born...hilarious!!
I decided on the Snow White Pearl...and of course, none in my state, but my dealer is driving to bring me one from another state on Monday....OMG I cannot WAIT!!!

Right on - excellent choice!

Which interior did you go with - red or black? Either way, you will love it.

Good Afternoon,
My name is Jeff and I work for Kia, the stinger is appropriate for any age and there is plenty of room in the back seats for grown adults or car seats. If you have any further questions you can email me at jhempel@tricityautomotive.com

Only option was black interior. I didn't think GT2 had red option...plus had to extend out over 200 miles just to find a white. Would have liked a camel tan interior if that were an option.

Ahem...

Wonder if we'll hear back from Jeff. Maybe too busy asking "tire kickers" how much they can afford for a monthly car payment, or pleading with the sales manager to allow a customer to take a test drive.

KIA USA and its network of dealers face many challenges. Good dealers appear to be much more the exception, not the rule.

Apologies if my comments seem critical, but KIA USA presents a truly target-rich environment!

Seoul, I hope that you are reading this!!!

I'm 53, not a grandpa yet though. Get the car in any color you like. It's all about what you like, not what someone else perceives!

My salesman hadn't even driven the car himself, because the General Manger did not let him.... :)

No need to apologize, you are absolutely correct.
But let's not hijack this tread...:)
I hear you. After months of asking for a test drive i got booked in. The day before my test drive the sales girls said she was deeply embarrased but all test drives have been cancelled because the service manager wants to take it to the airport for an interstate flight. She must have said sorry 10 times. Got to meet this service moron a few weeks later .

I'll post some pics. Last time I was this excited was over a used 1973 Z28. Then the Cadi ATS...that was a fun drive too, but the Stinger takes the cake for sure.

rtttt2.webp if you have noticed there are many Stinger owners that are in their middle age or even older....I am 65 and have not had a nice feeling about how my car looks like my new yellow GT2 Stinger since my beautiful "Precious", a black G35 Infiniti that I purchased new in 2007. That was almost a perfect auto and this Stinger gives me a nice tingle every time I see it in picture or in person. And to drive it is extremely exhilarating. My point....the Stinger is an extremely attractive looking piece of Korean machinery and a look that all ages admire, but especially us older folks, as we know what a beautiful looking work is. Pictured is my "Precious 3" in the showroom at the dealership in OKC. gwrts.webp 5wrw.webp

Just finished a midnight drive...picked up my new baby today. Took all the grandkids for a little joy riding...the 3 years old kept telling me to go faster...and oldest grandson said I should name it Storm Trooper. Of course he's a Star Wars fan. Can't wait to drive again tomorrow...like being 16 again.
