Just took the beast to the local KIA dealership in Bendigo, the service department's two counter staffers Laura and Maddy =very good.
I asked the dealer to sort the rattle above the dash (behind steering wheel), fixed - was due to loose wiring which is a worry for a new car but at least it is sorted now.
They also reckon Head up Display is rattling (must be since they fixed other rattle as I have not heard this) and they have ordered in a replacement HUD. Has anyone else had that issue?
Diff Oil - they knew I wanted it replaced but said will be done when car is back for HUD (next week), not sure why delayed as it is a known issue but at least they will do it.
Paint protection flap (dirt underneath since day 1) near rear RH door is called a Ricochet apparently (cute) and to be ordered in & replaced next visit. Sales guy I bought the car from @ Southland Kia (hopeless, stay clear) knew dirt was under the flap but fobbed me off so I just assumed it was a very crap detail/clean and dirt was on the top, not underneath the film.
So nothing too bad out of the above apart from the extra trip next week but can't complain about the customer service, friendly and got the car back in a couple of hours - would have been an hour had I not had them look into the above issues, so I no complain!
Am interested in what other issues have come up for Stinger owners at the 3000km freebie.
