Yep it was the same with MBRP too. They had a bunch of delays as well. We'll see how things go with Borla. Also will be interested how much more it will costs versus MBRP's system.

The KSR exhaust is ready to go. And they can do the valved version, guarantee they would be able to have it to you well before Borla is ready. Let me know, I can connect you with Kristian at KSR and he will work directly with you to produce a 3in exhaust exactly how you want it done!

Wanted to respond about the Borla exhaust questions. They currently do not have any 2022+ Stinger exhausts in the works due to not having any 2022+ Stingers for R&D however they want to make an exhaust with the active valve function. I am currently in the talks with someone at Borla to giving them my Stinger for R&D. I will keep you guys updated.

Here to update you guys that Borla now has my 2022 Stinger for R&D to making an active exhaust! They should be done with the R&D in about 2-3 weeks. If I am allowed I will make a separate post with videos and share the exhaust with you guys.

Glad to hear that they have your car to do the R&D.

I would be extremely surprised if it only takes 2 to 3 weeks for the R&D to be done after finishing with your car.

Usually takes a bit longer than that, especially with developing an active exhaust system with electronic valves.

Just estimating, but if I had to guess, I think we would be lucky if we see something available on the shelf for sale by this summer.

The guy was telling me that at this moment they were very slow so hopefully that means they have more time to focus on my car. Not sure if they will utilize the OEM valve or not but I will let everyone know once I get the car back. Just glad we can give stinger owners more valved options.

If it takes longer I will allow them to keep the vehicle longer if necessary too. The main person I spoke with said that they are eagered to make a valved model. He did mention that they had other stingers offered in the past but the plans fell through.

Just picked up my car today! I have work though and only got video of the outside of the car ATM since my gf drove it back for me. I'll post whatever videos I have but on the outside it sounds amazing!

They did tell me they will let me keep the exhaust on the car for free if they can consider the product finished which it is a finished product and what they will be manufacturing. I believe they said everyone can expect the exhaust to be for sale in 3-4 months. I am uploading the videos I have right now to YouTube will leave a link when done and I'll make a proper video sometime next week and post on a separate post.

Sounds good thus far! Especially want to hear your opinion on the cabin noise. Some people report that previous Borla exhaust droned too much in cabin if you didn't add new tips.

Outside the car honestly sounds better than the videos but the car sounds pretty exotic on the outside, super happy with that. Honestly doesn't sound too loud on the outside either which I was surprised by but the wind could be muffling what I was able to hear. My girlfriend drove the entire 40 mile journey back in sport mode and she said it didn't drone at all in sport mode. My car is stock engine wise as they wanted a stock engine for the R&D but I do have a JB4 that I'll be plugging back in asap.

Finally drove the car for a good 2 hours. I will post a video next week to try an capture the sound difference of the valve. However, the sound difference is pretty big with it opened and closed when cruising. In sport mode there is a decent amount of drone but nothing too bad if you ask me, in comfort mode the drone is about 90% gone, if you play music you most likely won't hear it. When taking off in comfort mode it can still be decently loud depending on how much throttle you give it. All in all, it won't be quiet like stock. I would say just cruising it's a tad louder than the stock exhaust in sport mode.

Pretty cool man. That’s the only reason I didn’t get mbrp’s 2022. Since people said the valve didn’t make much of a difference.
