2022 Kia Stinger Full America Info!!

Yeah, that's what I think is happening: the same buttons, different function.
I believe that there is a new separate button mounted on the backside of the key fob if you go on YouTube and And watch some of the videos from Korea you’ll see that there is a new button mounted on the other side kind a looks out of place but it is what it is

I still think the Stinger, whether the 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder version, is still the best "bang for the buck" for entry-level luxury and performance for a family vehicle...

But... Kia changing configurations and options might be pushing people to a different market...

Not sure really... To those who are justifying their purchase of the 4-cylinder though... please don't lie to yourselves... saying you went with that smaller engine, whether 2.0L or 2.5L because it is lighter and more "nimble" than larger engine is somewhat of a joke... even a base model 4-cylinder Stinger RWD is still a pretty heavy and clumsy car... (not bashing people for buying one version over the other - I did similar mental gymnastics with myself and others when I bought my WRX instead of the STI)

Granted... the money saved on the difference can easily be made up in mods...

I am very impressed with the new color options for the 2022 models available to the USA market though! :D

My lease is coming up from my 2018 and I'm trying to decide what comes next. I've been looking at the 2022 and seriously considering it.

But is it too much to ask for technology parity with other (usually less expensive) models? I was hoping for cellular UVO, a instrument cluster refresh with the blind spot cameras, highway driving assist... also curious about whether the GT2 AWD will have an LSD.

This car has spoiled me. I wouldn't be happy with any car without adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, or a HUD. And the power. This is all a testament to why the Stinger is in such a unique place at its price point.

Also, it feels good knowing I'm at 50K miles (zero issues) and I'm only half way through the drivetrain warranty.

If you're such a big fan of leasing then just lease a 2022 V6 Stinger coming up then? :D

I think the GT1 msrp dropped by 1 kUSD from what I saw at the dealer yesterday. Kinda bummed the 2022 GT1 dropped the seat memory, but I'll make a go of it.
How have you gotten one already? There are no news articles announcing a date. Kias website doesn’t have it. This thread here claiming March 6th is the closest thing I’ve heard.

Just FYI the GT1 and 2 are getting a limited Slip Differential.

That’s what’s so weird! Like I said I work at Kia and I was looking at the 2022 carnival coming in and I saw that there’s also the 2022 Stinger, it was weird because the 2021 stinger is still less than 4 months old at this point. From what my GM said it will be a limited amount, we haven’t ordered them Kia allocated a few to our dealer. As of now, only 40 or so are going to all SoCal Kia dealers in the next 3 months.

eh, the 2021 stinger is over a year old. Everyone knows 2021 and 2020 are identical lol. Unless I’m mistaken literally the only change was the panthera metal getting red seats.
Spring has always been the suspected date that I’ve seen although this is still 1-3 months earlier than I thought.

I bought a GT2 back( 11/19 )when everyone was shocked that KIA had a $54k car. The dealers on the east coast were not moving them. I called one dealer that had a white GT2 with the limited gray interior and they were "letting it go" for $40k.
I drove the 60 miles immediately and bought the Stinger.
Now, people and the dealers know it's a great car so there wont be those deep discounts.
The car is worth the MSRP. Fit and finish, perfomance and comfort are all excellent. I would like the new selectable exhaust tone though.

You can tell this is the NA Version of the Kia stinger by the orange reflectors Over the front headlight lenses

Are the rear LED turn signal indicators Amber? I do not believe the back up reverse lights are LED they’re probably just incandesent Bulbs

I'm color blind, so I'll ask my wife :)

I'll grab some night shots of the rear tonight. I haven't even seen that yet.
