This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. 2021 GT Limited Special Edition Neon Orange for Canada

I would have like the option of the Indigo Version they got in the US. I like the Brown leather interior, more traditional gear shift and the color is a deep Blue/Purple.

man just thinking about the deal I got again (42250 final before taxes 2019 stinger limited red with 487km and warranty till June 2025)

Who here thinks that in Canada the stinger is an absolute STEAL.

50k loonies MSRP stinger limited same as those freedom dollars

Almost every other mfg has like 5-7k increase due to exchange rate (some even 30% like tesla)

I really dont understand why these arent flying off the lot...

A fully loaded accord is 41k... while u could easily get the stinger GT at 45k
You can barely even get into an Audi A4 for that price...
5k cheaper than a comparable A5 sportback
25k cheaper than a similary equipped s5 sportback

just crazy.

Absolutely yes ... a steal ... and a beautiful car crafted by Biermann, Schreyer, and Guillaume.
To get a comparable car in a Mercedes, Audi, or BMW you're gonna pay $20-30K more ... easily.

Second point is because it's a KIA. Here in NA the brand is looked upon as a "bargain brand" and "cheap". Different story in Europe. You see lots of KIA's on the road over there. Europeans would say it's a good competitor - economically sound, well equipped, and very driveable. That's KIA's general focus ... to compete with European brands, not North American brands. This also reminds to of that episode in top gear where they loved the new Corvette / price but quipped that Europeans wouldn't be caught dead in an American car.

I see the 2021 has landed now. I feel better about pulling the trigger on the 2020 since they haven't done any updates like in Korea.

Here is one in Niagara Falls for anyone shopping and you like orange.

It’s nice to see that for our market they didn’t include the alcantara steering wheel and shifter knob because on a daily driver, that material would have aged poorly

At least that ones only slightly marked up. They’re asking $57,200 for the neon one here!

2020 got the LSD on the AWD

The only thing i really want is the variable exhaust note on the 2021 in Korea.

The bigger LCD, blind spot display and bigger tailpipes are okay.. Diamond quilted seats are mehh same as the taillights

It’s the same exhaust the Aussies have had since launch. Nothing remarkable about it.

Better than stock from factory with warranty :)
Only if you’re dead set against an aftermarket exhaust. I’d still replace it.

How can you be so sure about this? Aussie exhaust was developed by Kia Australia and there are two versions of it. The new exhaust is fitted from factory in Korea and is developped to be sold in mass worldwide. I have never seen any confirmation that it is the exact same exhaust anywhere.

Maybe the new OEM bimodal will be good enough for most and that just secondary delete might satisfies some that need more sound.

There are sound clips of it online. Sounds exactly the same as the Aussie version. And why wouldn’t Kia reuse the same exhaust? The chassis hasn’t changed and that exhaust fits and is valved.

I am not saying that it is not similar or a inspiration from but stating from and YouTube video recorded from a phone that in sound identical... video of the facelift exhaust are limited and bad quality. It is just that I do not appreciate when people stating there guesstimate as they were facts this spread false information on the forum.

Also the Aussie bimodal version 2 sound good to my ears from many video I have listen so I would not be made if you were right about being the same.

Fair. We’ll know soon enough. With all the aftermarket exhaust options now for the Stinger it’s going to have to sound really good to be worth it.

We also don’t know if it will be included with the GT Limited in Canada or an added option and if so, what it will cost.

If the facelift in GT Limited gets the exhaust with minimal price increase I believe it will be very interresting. I would be supprised they put this as individual option, KIA canada seems to be managing the Stinger (and most other cars of their line-up) with very few models and no options except accessories. Will see as you said...

I would agree with you that paying the price they pay in Australia make it less interesting and that there are other bimodal options at similar price. On the other end if I am not mistaken those Aussie exhaust are not factory fitted so they basically pay for the stock exhaust and the bimodal (like going aftermarket). In the case of the new facelift exhaust these will be from factory so in a sense you pay for the difference (valves, more expensive exhaust cans and tubing). Also the R&D and tooling cost will be spread to a bigger market which reduce the overall price.

Nope. Just the paint. The facelift won't be here until 2022 model year.
Do you know when the 2022 facelifted model will come out? from what I've read, its being offered in Europe and Korea late this year of early next year. Is the 2022 coming out in the Summer for North America?

Not for certain but I’d guess summer in the US and fall here in Canada as that has been the trend so far.

A little off topic here but I just totalled my 2019 Mustang GT and I'm really on the fence about getting a brand new 2021 Stinger GT Limited right away or getting a cheap winter beater for now and buying a 2022 Stinger when they get to Canada.

I test drove the 2021 and really liked it. After contacting 2 dealerships, it seems like they are not really willing to budge on the price. $600 is the most I got them to take off from the MSRP which is still $52,000 + tx with freight and everything. That's a pretty shitty discount IMO.

What dealer discounts were you guys able to get off a brand new Stinger in Canada?

You should be able to get them down to $49,000 on the current model year (2021). And even lower on a 2020. The 2021's just arrived so if you can hold of a few weeks it'll make it easier to negotiate on one.
