2019 Stinger GTS. New Owner here.

Beautiful color! I bought my micro blue 2018 GT at Liberty Kia, also. Was happy with the sales people and the service department has been good.
Model Electronics Automotive on 17 North just installed the K8Stinger Store Canbus Module in my Stinger today. The guy who installed it told me he's not seen anything with all the features that this has.

Have you figured out drift mode yet?
Pretty sure the requirement of owning a GTS is immediately drifting out of the dealer parking lot after taking delivery?

I just trade my 2018 Red GT2 for the 2019 Orange GTS
Cool! Would you share some financial figures on how you worked that out with the trade in?

Jimmer - What is your VIN? KNAE35LC (then a 0-9,X)K60(68-71)then 3 more digits right?
I've been trying to research GTS numbers to get a general idea what number of 800 we have. I can find data on KIA's site by plugging in zip codes and search for GTS inventory within a 100+ mile radius. I've got over a hundred so far and am going to start plugging them into a spreadsheet. The quicker it gets done the less others will have bought. I don't think we can capture them all unless you know someone with some pull in KIA.

I am sure early adopters are going to pay more for a GTS than I did for my fully loaded GT2. But you know what, that is their freedom to do so. They like having a car no one else has.

And even so, even if you don't get $11-12k in discounts, the car is still a very good value. I am not a fan of Orange, but what I think does not matter. As long as you like it...and as mentioned it is a definite cool factor to have a car like yours that know one knows anything about.

If you go mod crazy and start putting down 500 whp you will want to keep the R compounds on all the time and have another vehicle for inclement weather. If I had, say another daily like a G80 (which I was looking at before the Stinger) and a big cash flow like I did back in the day, I would then get into modding my Stinger. The Stinger is my daily (and what a wonderful daily) as my M3 needs another alternator and I can't dump more money in it right now (because I have a note on my Stinger, LOL).

The price tag for my GTS was 48K before discounts. so, like 44K overall. All the GT2s I've seen are over 50K before discounts.

Did lose some features, gained others. I like all the gained features (the orange, the script on the back, the suede armrest and steering wheel, the carbon fiber mirrors, grille and vents, the normal shifter, wireless charger ) and will only miss a few I lost (ventilated seats, Nappa leather seats with thigh extension, auto trunk open.) MOST of the things I lost, I don't care about (HUD, the shifter, lane keep (which I turn off), adaptive cruise (never used))

Of course, the big one, the D-AWD is the key.

Dr J, you really should start using the "reply" button directly under the posts you are replying to. Otherwise no one has any idea who your posts are replying to.

I keep clicking on quote but the quote does not get pasted. I will try hitting the reply button next time.

Aha, LOL So, the reply button if for quoting. Having said that, what is the quote button for (as it does nothing).

Remember, I am a frail little old man who is easily confused:)

The + Quote button is for quoting multiple posts. Once you added them all up, you then hit the green Insert button.

I just reply to the posts by hitting each reply button and they all appear in the text window. I'll mess with that Quote feature next time and see if I can figure out what you said. :P

I just saw a GTS at my local dealership and it was a RWD. What is the point of a RWD GTS? I thought the new AWD system was the whole point of the GTS.

I thought the whole point was the color. Is it being released in colors other than orange?

Ah, confirmation that this ad is not incorrect:
The D-AWD is less than 500 GTSs. I guess RWD already satisfies. And AWD aficionados are catered to directly with 400+ cars, if "you" can get one. Clever ad.

I feel like that's incorrect. Are you sure it was a GTS? Was it orange? Because I've seen some people throw a "GTS" badge on their Stingers when it's a normal one.

Edit: Nevermind, forget I wrote this lol
