Hi the 10" update is available in the US but this forum section where you've posted is for 'Stingers Down Under' which is for Australia/New Zealand where the 10" update is still not currently available.I just did the 10in update. Added icons and names to the radio stations, and Soundhound. Not sure what else.

Good point, but you'll probably see the same changes to the interface, so it is still appropriate, whenever the 10" update goes to you all.Hi the 10" update is available in the US but this forum section where you've posted is for 'Stingers Down Under' which is for Australia/New Zealand where the 10" update is still not currently available.
On a positive note, I did discover an interesting feature of the nav system. Without it even being in use, it detected what it thought was me traveling the wrong way on a (formerly) one-way street and made that announcement over the audio system. Now if I can just get it to stop the possessed "you are here" cross-country treks.I am running the latest version of Kia Stinger software in a MY23 Australian delivered Stinger GT but has anyone else noticed how out of date the SATNAV locations are?
One location indicates a bank that hasn't been there for 15 years. Another indicates a school zone where the school was replaced by apartments 15 years ago.
Another does not show a school zone that has been there for 7 years......
No noticeable changes in the maps but there is a clock overlay on the reversing camera now.For the series 1 Stingers, ( 17-20 ) has anyone done the update and notice any changes ?
Anything better or worse ?
I'm a bit cautious since the last update went from sophisticated motif to Miami Vice....
TIA
I’ve lost navigation sounds after update. Media sound, radio etc are all fine, but none of navigation prompts are audible. Checked the volume controls, all seem to be enabled. Anyone had such a problem? For the series 1 Stingers, ( 17-20 ) has anyone done the update and notice any changes ?

Yes, I had the same problem in December on the EU version.I’ve lost navigation sounds after update. Media sound, radio etc are all fine, but none of navigation prompts are audible. Checked the volume controls, all seem to be enabled. Anyone had such a problem?
Thanks for that. I will try your solution.Yes, I had the same problem in December on the EU version.
I fixed it by rewriting the SD card on another computer (with windows) with the same Nav version and then reapplying the update.
Or try another SD card - they do die occasionally. Thanks for that. I will try your solution.
Does the nav unit work with non-oem SD cards? I simply assumed they would be locked.Or try another SD card - they do die occasionally.
yep, any sd card with the appropriate amount of space will work.Does the nav unit work with non-oem SD cards? I simply assumed they would be locked.
With european cars you never dream of getting things like nav updates for free. An update sd card for my previous VW Passat was 100-150 EUR and you had to buy one each year to keep the car updated.
