2018 Stinger cylinder misfiring

was there any particular coil pack position prone to failure?

So I just talked with the dealership today and they said that I'm getting my car tomorrow.
They fixed the misfiring issue and did the recall work too. They didn't have to pull the engine for the recall work.
Apparently, the part that was causing the misfiring was a solenoid. Don't have anymore details other than that. I'll review the documents once I pick it up tomorrow. I'll ask for the part number too and I'll actually be asking for the defective/broken part.

I really hope this fixes it.
Hey Brother did you find out what solenoid was replaced in your Stinger? I am going through the list of possible causes like replacing spark plugs and re-gapping I also replaced the low pressure gas pump because my car would stall on hard right turns … I would appreciate the part number and any advice
Thanks Paul

variable force solenoid (P/N: 24379-3L100)

I'm having the same issue as you are on a 2022 gt2. I'm having misfires on cylinders 2,4,6. Been trying to get the dealership to fix buts it's been difficult since the codes clear when the car is turned off then turned back on...

Did you ever get any resolution on your issue?
I’m having the EXACT same issue as you, for the solenoid by any chance do you know where that is located on the vehicle, is it inside of the valve cover or on the outside? I just wanna know if I can get to it without ripping apart the motor id rather a dealer do that than myself but if it’s on the outside I can do it

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Ok, I'm here to deliver:
Problem was misfiring on cylinders 2-4-6 (One Bank only)

They found the issue to be coming from the variable force solenoid (P/N: 24379-3L100)

Here are the list of things they checked before getting to the solenoid:
1.) Inspected Gas. found to be ok
2.) Reset engine and adaptive values
3.) swapped coils 6 and 5 and spark plugs 6 and 1. Test drove. Misfires on 2,4,6 still. no change.
4.) Inspected wiring from coils 2,4,6. Measured their resistance values and all within spec.
5.) inspected for pinched wires. None found
6.) removed O2 sensor on left side and inspected Catalytic converter. no debris no clogging found.
7.) Swapped VFS(variable Force Solenoid). there are two, one on each bank. Test drove. Misfiring changed from 2,4,6 to now misfiring on 1,3,5

So they replaced the faulty VFS and misfiring went away.

I also talked with the tech and walked me through what he did and I'm pretty convinced that it is now fixed.
He told me that he had to drive the car for a while 20-30 mins in order to get the misfiring to come up.

Will report back if misfiring comes back.
I'm very happy with the work they did and happy that they went through troubleshooting process with me. oh and they also did the recall work too (SC300)
Also how much did the dealer charge to fix the solenoid
