They are super short and are right angle connectors so it allows the cable and your phone (Pixel 2 XL) to fit with the cover closed!

You are all lucky that the different centre console made for the left hand drive cars.

I've not been able to find one for right hand drive, looks like I'll need sellotape and cardboard...

How hard would it be to use a USB splitter behind the dash area, plug one back into factory slot and run the other one to the center console?

Is that USB hub 3.1? Do you know if USB data/Android Auto will still work when you have other connections attached to the hub?

Both holes are small and not visible at all. All wires are completely hidden and the sliding console tray can close all the way.

Drilling two small holes vs taking the dash apart...ill drill the holes. Go slow and know that the drill bit will "walk" once it bites the plastic. Then use a higher speed to clean it up.

Rango - did you find a USB hub that allowed you to plug in multiple USB devices for data, not just charging? In my own limited experiments (2 hubs), this did not work - even a single USB device behind a hub was not recognized by the Stinger.
