Just wondering if anyone has ever managed the 12.9sec qtr mile in a stock stinger that we see reported a lot. I've only managed 13.3 and there isn't a whole lot that can be done to get any more out of it. Maybe race a gain on a cooler night with better air but can't see getting .4 secs faster. Tried launch control, without launch control, traction off and on, sport mode, custom.

With a Burger burnout switch on an AWD car 12s stock should be in the bag. :)

Are there any downsides to the burnout switch? There's a reason why Kia made the launch mode RPM so low right?

^Yup. I recall at least 2 guys that had posted on here have made their transmissions make weird klunkly noises and have shifting problems by holding it too long.

I remember running 12.7 completely stock at the drag strip

Reduced wear and tear. Heard of a couple minor problems out of the many 100s who have done it.

I looked for the burnout switch and couldn't find find it

Oh man. Do you still have time slips? I'd love to know the air density, 60ft etc.

Here is another data point. This is with a bone stock RWD 2019 Kia Stinger GT2.
12.961 seconds @ 108.0 mph.
#118 in the right lane.

This was the second pass I have ever made on the drag strip. It was with the built in LC in Sport mode and allowing the car to do the automatic up shifts. Pilot Sport 4 tires with about 1,000 miles on them.

I did 4 passes last night and they were all 13.0X or less on 93 Octane gas and no performance modifications whatsoever.

Nice one! I reckon mine in missing some horses :( I need to go back and see if it get better with cooler air than when I ran.

Here are the dragy results from that run. It was hot and humid and the DA was 2058.

Yes, this is entirely possible. Stock Stingers are capable of 12.7s @109-110 in 50 degree weather <1000DA.

Should that be <1000DA? I thought lower DA values were better?
