What fuel were you using? I think the US fuels have higher octane. Try running E85 maybe.Nice one! I reckon mine in missing some horsesI need to go back and see if it get better with cooler air than when I ran.

Is your stinger a stock awd? If yes, that might be why. The faster stock runs seem to come from rwd stingers.Just wondering if anyone has ever managed the 12.9sec qtr mile in a stock stinger that we see reported a lot. I've only managed 13.3 and there isn't a whole lot that can be done to get any more out of it. Maybe race a gain on a cooler night with better air but can't see getting .4 secs faster. Tried launch control, without launch control, traction off and on, sport mode, custom.
E85 in a stock stinger, I think that would be a bad idea. What fuel were you using? I think the US fuels have higher octane. Try running E85 maybe.

No RWD only. He's in Australia. Kia doesn't sell AWD Stingers to you guys, do they?
Running E85 in the stinger? Bit of info in this old thread, sounds like it can be diluted.E85 in a stock stinger, I think that would be a bad idea.
Yeah RWD only. All we get in Aus, which is fine. It's just the work car so not going to mod it for a while. Other than the front brakes that I've done already. Leaving the modding for my other car.Is your stinger a stock awd? If yes, that might be why. The faster stock runs seem to come from rwd stingers.
When an awd stinger is fast, it's because it has been modded.
It's definitely LSD. No problems getting off the line. Tyres a very grippy. If you don't have an LSD (Limited Slip Differential) it would be very difficult. I consistently hit 12.7 to 12.8 stock in my RWD. I would cry if I ran that slow now.
I can't recall for sure but pretty sure I was running 98. I generally put 98 in anytime I'm taking it to a track. Minimum 95. Just use 91 for daily use. I really don't think there are any performance gains going from 95 to 98 but just giving it every chanceWhat fuel are you using? US 93 is the same as AU 98.
