Appreciate that.. and Greatly appreciate getting more Stinger Friends to like and subscribe to either Youtube channel, or Rumble if you have Rumble.Catch can video was useful.
Yeah I've watched a few and subscribed. I'm looking forward to some mods and tune. It's a bit painful watching you, for the most part, get your ass handed to ya.Appreciate that.. and Greatly appreciate getting more Stinger Friends to like and subscribe to either Youtube channel, or Rumble if you have Rumble.
ha, its all in fun and thanks for Sub'nYeah I've watched a few and subscribed. I'm looking forward to some mods and tune. It's a bit painful watching you, for the most part, get your ass handed to ya.![]()
The tune is the best bang for the buck, along with the snorkels and K&N drop in you should see significant gains.ha, its all in fun and thanks for Sub'n
I'm getting closer on a tune, but it's not a rush.. and to be fair, I've beaten some Mustang GT's, Ferarri (crappy one, but I'll take it, ha), Camaro SS, Merc 550, Vette, Challengers, bmw's...
I'll lose less when tuned, but still to many. I don't plan on any mods, just a tune, higher 94 octane for drag strip days, and spark plugs upgraded soon.. that's it, likely forever.
and I haven't used e-brake the last few times out, as I dont want to break it
Carbon cleaning, before and after video coming soon
I have 44K kms I suspect it'll not be super carboned up, but some say spray way has to be done more often, and if walnut blasting, then you can go longer, but if performance is also down by going too long and if fuel economy suffers a wee bit, sooner is better. I maybe should have done it at 25K kmsThe tune is the best bang for the buck, along with the snorkels and K&N drop in you should see significant gains.
How many miles on your Stinger? Carbon cleaning is a 50,000+ mile thing IMO. Interested in that video for sure. Then once you're clean the recent catch can install will demonstrate how well that works (or doesn't) at preventing buildup, scoping the backs of the valves at regular intervals.
If you keep the channel up to date and consistent with tracking the changes over time, it could prove to be a good resource beyond just Stinger interest.
Yes something like seafoam has to be done more frequently, and isn't as effective removing bad buildup.I have 44K kms I suspect it'll not be super carboned up, but some say spray way has to be done more often, and if walnut blasting, then you can go longer, but if performance is also down by going too long and if fuel economy suffers a wee bit, sooner is better. wow you decimated him on the launch!!
"Stinger vs CLS550"....our guy was off by a little......I was checking these out when I first bought the Stinger and that model year, does have the turbo v8 but HP is little over 400 and trq up there as well. Gross wgt is little over 4K. Those things move.....to be so darn heavy.cool
Am aware of that....and our Stingers aren't light either. My gt2awd is 4165 lbs
