What is the fastest 0-60 time you've heard about that is believable.
I talking pure stock from the factory. No mods of any sort. Just the pure stock Stinger GT 3.3 turbo.
You can throw tons of money into any car and make faster. That is a "so what". I appreciate a quick car for what it was born as.

do you not have the internet?

What’s the point of this thread?

unless you think Kia secretly delivers unicorns... pretty sure this thread will have the same answers to what every automotive article/review posted as the stock 0-60.

before I put an intake and exhaust, I was consistently getting around 4.9s with my AWD model on a very slight uphill road. They aren't lying

I seriously doubt that. Most stock Stingers using a Dragy on unprepared roads will not make the 4.4-4.6 0-60 times of the auto mags. Hell, look throughout the tuning forum and you will find plenty of lightly modded Stingers that don't even make those numbers.

What about after the exhaust and intakes?

I haven't tried yet. I moved about 45 minutes away and haven't been on that road since. I'll have to swing by and try it next time I'm visiting family

Cause ya know... draggy is the definitive tool for accurate times.

you are right. All the articles that took the cars to varying tracks were lying.

yup.

aaaaaaaand the op never said street vs track.

What the f*ck are you talking about? Nobody said anyone was lying. It's common (to us normal folks, excuse yourself from what I'm about to say) knowledge that auto makers and auto mags alike run their tests in the best conditions possible. Conditions that are often harder for the average owner/driver to replicate. As such, their times are often better than the average driver can manage.

And Dragy is a lot more accurate than the driver saying "one Mississippi, two Mississippi..." aloud while driving.

Dafuq are you on...

The AWD models are 4.9 secs because they weight 200 kgs (it might be 200 pounds, not sure) more and also there is a loss of power going thought 3 diffs at the wheels. The rear wheel drive will be around 4.6 seconds because they are lighter and only go though 1 LSD diff. Also, how much petrol you have in the tank will also make a difference. Then there is the slop of the road, the temperature on the day and so on.

I think a stock WRX is 5.5 secs 0 - 100 kmh.

Elevation too

Elevation too
Very true!

Basically there is a law, let's call it Luc's law that says that no matter how fast your car is, someone will always come along with a faster car...

I spent over 40k in my younger years trying to beat Luc's law and sadly I still failed...

The 0 - 100 kmh times are just an indication of how fast a car is. The Stinger is very fast, on average, to other cars. Its a low 13 secs quarter mile car. Most cars on the road are not going to be any where near that fast!

If you are planing to go down the modified car route, I wish you luck...

And humidity, road temps, type of tire (all season vs summer performance), road surface, and a whole host of other factors.

It ain't as easy to match manufacturer's claims as some (one) folks (folk) seem to think.

There is a point Cowboy! The auto articles are not all consistent with their 0-60 times. Does your wisdom tell you it is impossible that somebody out there may have run something better than was posted by the auto articles and have confirmed proof to show it?
Reaction time makes a difference. Think about it.

I also see and hear where the RWD has wheel slip and is not always quicker.
