Strange. Usually there's a date. But it only says "Saturday" and has a winking smiley face next to it. I wonder if FedEx is in on the joke...

Stillen told a vendor that they can’t ship to CA address bc of carb/emissions standards. Wth?! Disappointing... Injen it is

Finally got it. Unfortunately I don't have my car. I'll get it installed some time next week (no, not 2 weeks). Looks good though...

Great! would love to have some detail pictures/impressions and a sound clip or two if you get the chance.

So.. I've been f*cking with this thing for an hour. I gotta say that the fit is absolutely terrible. Install instructions suck also.

I'm about ready to box this back up and send it back. Never have I dealt with something so I'll fitting and read such ridiculously unspecific instructions. Without going into detail it seems the only way to get a simple silicone adaptor, an aluminum pipe, and the filter to line up to the bracket location you have to insert about 4" of the pipe into the large end of the silicone adaptor.

After all this waiting it just is a disappointment that I cannot just install the damn thing.

Oh great.

Let us know if you get things figured out. Share tips if you can.

Update... After two hours of intense manuevering I gave up. I was able to eventually squeeze the filters on there, but I am not pleased at all. Let this serve as a warning to anyone installing and hopefully a trigger for Stillen to either provide a more thorough explanation on fitment, or make something that fits without having to have a fit.

This thing isn't staying on my car. It doesn't look right and the shields are not going to look like anything other than pieces of crap. I guess it's either injen or Jonny Tig for $200 more.

So what exactly was the problem with install? The silicone part is too short???

The best way I can explain it the length and bend of the aluminum is not correct. Notice the driver's side filter sits a full 1.5" higher than the passenger side. This is with the max amount of pipe inserted in the silicone. I spun each piece in every way possible to resolve the driver's side issue but it just isn't feasible. They provide a 90° elbow for driver's side and 45° for passenger side due to cooling lines and ac lines. I'd say the passenger side is basically where they engineered it to fit... But the shields still looked like dog shit when installed. Not sure why they just wouldn't design the piping to bend back towards the turbo inlet and just use a straight adaptor.
