Hi Members,

I'm new to this forum. I got a quote from a dealer in NC for stinger GT RWD.
Market Value Selling Price : 41,300
Discount : 4500
Rebate : 5500
Adjusted Price : 31300
Doc Fee : 749
Tax : 241
Non-Tax Fees: 739
Net Price : 33029.

The lease offer is $459 for 36mos/15k miles with 3k down.

I'm new to leasing so please help me know if this deal is good. Do I need to negotiate further on the MSRP.

I assume the car comes with Drive Wise? Either way, $4500 is a little over 10% off MSRP. That is the goal BEFORE lease cash is applied! The payment seems high though, especially with 3k down. A couple factors may be affecting that. Are you trading anything? Negative equity on your trade? Low credit score. I believe NC has taxes rolled into each payment but either way, the payment is a bit high in my opinion. You can always try to go lower than 10% MSRP but I doubt the dealer will oblige since it's the beginning of the month. Never know though!

Hey Guys,

Currently negotiating a GT RWD in Florida. MSRP $39,540

To Buy - They're offering me a purchase price of $34,479.

However

To Lease - They're Offering me:
MSRP: $39,540
Discount: $3,061
Discount Price: $36,479 ($2,000 more than buy price)

Fees: $1,760.95 (Gov Fees, Dealership Fees, Acquisition Fees)
First Payment: $531
Upfront Taxes: $355

Gross Capitalization Cost: $39,125.95

KIA Lease Rebate: $5,500

Net Capitalization Cost: $33,625.95

My plan has been to use the lease incentives and follow up to buy it out. My questions to you guys:

1. Why is it that They'd sell it to me at one price but (currently) won't lease it to me at the same price?
2. If I'm going to buy out the lease, is the $33,625 what I'd be getting a loan for (plus taxes and dealership fees again if i can't negotiate those out before leasing)?

@shaggystinger Thanks for the response. I'm not trading in and I don't have any negative equity. Also my credit score is in range of 735-750. The car doesn't have drive sense and the dealer is that the extra 2k is for some kind of protection plan offered by the dealer which i'm not interested in. What should be the ideal payment per month for my deal.

The $2k difference is the KMF finance incentive.
And your loan cost would be around 33625 plus tax & lease buyout fee, minus 1st payment, plus accrued interest.

I think you should negotiate the price before any rebates or incentives.

No, that was 3.9% financing. I could have got the .9% financing if I didn't take the $2k. But I was planning on paying off the rest of the balance early, so the $2k made more sense.

I have Micro Blue GT-2 with remote start, was 49,704.00 with Tax,Title, and tags

Not my Stinger this weekend, picked up a Bugatti Chiron last night.

Looking at a Base GT in Cali.

Been offered

$39000 out the door with .9% Financing or $37k out the door with 2.9% financing.

Does that seem like a good deal or should I try and negotiate lower?

One of the interesting things they told me was that there was a factory incentive to sell at least 1 Stinger per month for a bonus to the dealership. I came in at the right time for them to work with me on that. You might be able to get that price you are looking for if you play hardball and find the right place. I had a hard out right as the negotiating was starting, so they just kept dropping the price until they hit the numbers I wanted. I imagine there are a few places around the area desperate to get the cars off the lots.

Hi Everyone,
Got a quote for stinger premium RWD with driver assist. Went to lease the vehicle but the dealer told me they can't lease the vehicle for some unknown reasons. The out of door pricing is $33000 including the basic accessories such as floor mat, splash guard and wheel locks.
My question is if I lease this vehicle and then buy it out, how much will I save ? The selling price for this vehicle in the dealer site is $36250.

Find another dealer. Sounds like game playing to me.
Unless it’s used and they can’t lease that?
