Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

I just passed a Silky Silver GT on a round-about, we looked at each other as if it was a reflection in the mirror.

Now that's painfull to see, i am sure another forum member had an incident with an old lady pulling out in front of his Stinger, upgrading to a GT is a wise decision, goodluck.

So so sorry for you. It sounds like the Stinger did a good job protecting you. I’m glad you are thoughtful enough to think, ‘great reason to now get a GT.’ Whew.


Oh and, she wouldn’t have missed a red one. Neither will the cops but ‘old lady approved.’

Out of curiosity, did that model have the DriveWise package and did the collision detection kick in before you were able to?

Damn!!!...that is hard to see. The Stinger did a great job of protecting you. The car didn't even have PLATES!!

Glad you are OK, sad to see a new car end it’s life that way, interestingly I note the airbag deployed, even the lower knee/leg one, did passenger airbag deploy as well, I can see the passenger side curtain deployed or were you the only one in the car?

The car truly did do it’s job. I had no serious injuries whatsoever!! It did NOT have the drivewise package but you better believe I’m going to get it on my next GT. I actually sent these photos to Kia and to my dealer and said thanks for building such a great car. And yes I had owned it for literally one week to the hour..... thanks for the well wishes y’all. I’ll post pics of the new one soon!!! Anyone else’s favorite color Panthera Metal???

Finally saw my first one in the wild on my drive home from Oklahoma on Saturday. Just a quick glance on the highway. Other than this I have not seen any others except at the dealership. I like it this way as well.

B-dog, are you in the OKC metro? I am returning from overseas in July and want to get a heads up about the dealers, I looking at a GT AWD, I trying to work a deal now slit there when I arrive. Did you pull the trigger on the lease cash/balloon payment everyone talking about? Any tax issues? See you on the road but stay out of the left lane, Authbahn to I40 is going to be a big change

Breaks my heart to see this, but it's also encouraging to see how the car protected you. Go for the GT with collision detection and you'll consider this a blessing in disguise.

Judging by my friends, I can attest that just about the only old ladies you can trust on the road are those of us who are driving Stingers.

I bought my GT 2 lease to own on April 19 at Westside KIA. Have Not seen any Stingers in Houston yet. Have seen a Stinger in San Antonio 2 weeks ago

I just joined. Live in Sugar Land. You may see a white blur zipping up and down 59S that looks remotely like a Kia Stinger GT2. That would be me.
