What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Teaching her how to fly.

6000 mile oil change and checkup
6K? I assume that is your second oil change? I am scheduled for every 4K. But my first was a little bit early, because it was very, very dusty in TX.

Yep, did my first oil change at home, but took it to the dealership for the "6000", since everything was free, along with the inspection of everything else.

Remote start installed. RIP my right hand kick panel. Almost ripped it off, ended up with a small crack. Nothing $30 can’t fix.

By far easiest install of a remote start ever. Unplug three things after taking off three panels, then plug in the module. I didn’t even zip tie since the panel holds it tight.

What did you install? We need that Remote Start here in AZ.

A crack? What is a "kick panel"? You guys who do mod things yourselves have my mixed admiration and unbelief.

I also installed the wireless charger. Less than an hour total.

Creative idea, @robz32! Never would have thought of that myself.

It looks surprisingly nice in your pics, in kind of a retro way. I will try it myself to see if it looks as good in person.

Looking really good, @James5623!

How did you install the brushed metal garnish behind your interior door handles? Did you remove the black plastic cups?

Looks nice there. Right now that small stinger script is stuck to the toolbox in my garage, but I will likely move it to either the passenger dash or the front grill - haven't made up my mind ...

Actually, that is not the Stinger script from the rear of the car. I thought of placing that one in the same place but it is too big and looks out of place in the interior as the size is too big, IMHO.

What you see is a metal sticker/decal.

Okay, where can we buy the sticker/decal?

They did a good job with the 3D highlights - I can see it if I look closer, but it fooled me at first glance!

I haven't tried it out there, but suspect you're right in that the rear chrome script would look outsized on the dash - maybe someone will come up with a smaller one. I do like the retro feel, reminds me of when styling was king ...

... and no, I wasn't on the Earth yet when this dashboard was produced ... :p
