What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

I just bought a GT2 (USA) AWD, MSRP $52,675
-4000.00 dealer discount
-2000.00 Finance rebate
$46,675 total plus taxes and tags

Should have it Thursday! Can't wait! (It is still at the port of Philadelphia)
Are you in PA? Which dealer?

I live in central MD, dealer is Koons in Owings Mills....however I would not recommend these guys...they are very shady. Hagerstown Kia is advertising 6400 off sticker right on their website. I would recommend them over Koons.

Maybe I’m missing it. Where on their website? Just went through it and they may have removed it.

I can't post links yet....I'm still a NOOB. They have the dealer discount listed, but have removed the 2K finance rebate (even though it is still available). Just google Hagerstown Kia MD...navigate to new car inventory...stinger...

I second hagerstown KIA MD. Inventory is limited there but they will work with you to get what you are looking for. As with any dealership, make sure you know your numbers. They were only offering me the lease cash at first but eventually came down on price. The deal fell through as I had something else come up. Good guys though! Ask for Franki.

@JasonC3962 what made Koons shady to you? I'm curious because they have pretty good prices and the biggest selection of Stingers in the area. Just wondering if I should even bother working with them when i'm ready to pull the trigger.

Koons is joke. First they tell me the car is on the lot (this was last Sat). When I get there after much back and forth they admit it is still in transit. I was supposed to get it today, but now I just heard it will be tomorrow. During the negotiations they tried to back out of the deal they offered to my over the phone. They then tired to charge me freight twice (it is already included in the MSRP). Once I got to the finance guy, he tried to charge me an extra % point, until I called him out that Kia has 2.9% for 60 months currently. They have not been straight with me from the start.

Dang it! Exactly what I was concerned about. Thanks for the heads up.

First post!

For my lease, I got $439/month (taxes and fees rolled in), 12k/yr with nothing down for a base Stinger with RWD. I am waiting for credit approval. Thoughts?

I live in NY, btw.

Lots of factors to consider. We would have to see the numbers to give our opinion if it were a good deal or not. Did you get them to go take anything off of MSRP?

Dealer in St.Louis says they can sell me a GT2 AWD, polar white stinger for 42.5k.
it includes dealer discount and lease rebate.
do you guys think it's a good deal?
I am cross shopping between used/certified Audi S4, Q5, BMW 335, 535..etc that's in similar price range.
I am torn if I should go ahead with the Stinger now or wait until 4th of july sales and/or the new model come out

It's not a bad deal.

Does KMF offer the lease cash on balloon financing in Missouri? If not and you’re planning on immediately buying out the lease (or buying out by refinancing) then it might be worthwhile to buy from a state where KMF does offer it on a balloon. I know it’s offered in Arkansas and Oklahoma. You’ll have to specifically ask your dealer about the balloon financing and rebate cash availability in your state as I don’t know anywhere this information is listed online.

The advantage of the balloon is that there’s no lease origination or buyout fees (that saves you another $950 right there) and the title starts in your name and simply has a leinholder on it (this can sometimes simplify state sales/excise tax issues because in a lease the first title is held by the lease company). Also, when you go to payoff the balloon there is no “mileage statement” or other nonsense people are having with the lease buyouts. Everything is just much cleaner. If you get the payoff check to them within the first month you will only be out a couple hundred bucks of interest at most.

I only mention this because you are probably near one of the above states. If I were you I’d check inventories online and email a few dealers in nearby states and see if they’ll do a similar or better deal for you.

These Stingers are an absolute bargain with dealer discounts + lease cash. I don’t think you will find anything equivalent for the money, not to mention the included 5yr/60k bumper to bumper.

I actually received a better offer from another dealer: $426/mo for an AWD model. The MSRP was $35k and the sale price came out to be $27k. The other dealer would not budge on the MSRP which was rubbish.

Doesn't sound like a bad deal. Consider a lease buy out if you can get a better interest rate with a credit union.

As for dealers not budging on MSRP before the lease cash is applied, their loss. Even more confusing since it's a 2.0 which aren't selling as well as the GT's. Guess some dealers are still figuring out what the market will take. MY19's are right around the corner. So we'll see!

That sounds like $10k off sticker. If no shenanigans, that’s a great price.
