Enjoy the wait. Took 8 days from when they shipped it to get to me. FedEx actually let it sit at a hub 3 hours west of me for 3 days. Should be a little faster for you. You used the cheapest shipping?

Standard Fedex 4 day shipping.. everything that I have purchased for this car has either ben delayed or a pain in the ass.. so I am prepared... hahaha

Same as me. It's almost like the car doesn't want to be changed.

I used the standard 4 day shipping as well. I even took off work in anticipation of receiving it on a Friday. Then FedEx changed their delivery date by +2 days.

For me it seems the exhaust did more than the tune. The car feels really really fast now . Have fun waiting 5 more days! I cant talk, i waited 6 weeks for the Ark.

Did they push the delivery date back?

I don't think FedEx cares about ground shippers. We're bottom of the barrel for them.

Make sure someone is home to sign for it. Most shippers that require signatures don't enforce that rule but FedEx actually made my wife sign for the box.

More clarification from Thermal about the whistle.

Hello,

I have shown this video to our Tech's and they relayed that this is just the stock exhaust sound being emphasized. I can say that exhaust systems can change slightly over time due to carbon build up and just being warn in. Turbo vehicles do tend to have similar sounds to what is heard in the video you have sent over.

I hope this information helps, but let me know if you have any further questions I can help out with.

It is not simply the blow-off valve redirecting boosted air back to the turbo inlet??
Nowadays that’s a closed circuit but for my 350Z i have a mod that vents it under the hood with a loud hiss

You mean the whistle sound? I'm not certain. I know it wasn't there before installing the exhaust.

I have since disconnected the tubes that recirculate air to the intakes and it still makes that noise.

Sounds like its touching somewhere maybe on the heat shield. Make sure you check hot and cold as the exhaust grows 3/4 inch when hot.
Mine also never rattles or vibrates the floor boards. (ARK or Ark w flowmaster)

Which part are you talking about? At what minute/second mark?

Toward the beginning when you rev and let off . Hard to tell if its a rattle, turbo whistle or exhaust leak. Sounds odd though. But im also listening through my phone. Ill try headphones later .

There are a couple of clicks at the beginning of it. Those are from me splicing together different clips. I edited over 11 minutes of video down to make it.

Mine does have that same whoosh almost rattle sound after you let off. I can't hear it in the car but could in the recording. Yours is just more obvious.
This is my Ark now with Flowmaster DBX mufflers. Drove my parents (73 & 84 years old) for 5 hours and no exhaust complaints. I did go sport at times to keep it quiet.
