Check your email - he's just advised "our" test drive is 24-48 hrs (weekends excluded) away....and naturally I'm in Sydney from Wednesday for 5 days.....which is of course KMAu's fault!

My order may be at the dealers by middle of next week which is great news but the biggest issue I think we might all have (as discussed a couple of weeks ago) is having the car insured in time to allow us to drive it away.
I've chased up on a few today with no luck and my current insurer said it's on the system but it has no pricing and could still be a while. He escalated the query with upper management but he said that it doesn't always mean results but at least their aware of the issue.

Has any body been able to get any insurance quotes on the vehicle?

Most of us have put deposits blind on this car without knowing all the ins and outs and final costs, The unknown has tarnished the excitement some what. I still don't know what the Bi-Modal is priced at and who knows if the insurance premiums come back ridiculously high.

Yes it easz a problem. I complained to KIA and WHEELS mag...
Guess what , O am aall set when it arrives.
Just need the calll from the dealer for a test drive. The drive away if all good. With Full COMP INSURANCE....

YES, It has. Check the stinger brochure and
2nd point re Delivery of cars.
Yes, they are already here. As mentioned previously, here in Sydney the dealers are heading to EASTERN CREEK for their so called training on the 17th OCT.
SO the cars will be released think sometime after that date.
Demo / showroom car just one next weekmaybe Thursday.
I ordered mine Back in early Feb.
Again as I mentioned previously,
Only 2 cars per dealer per month.

Could be a long wait for ne1 placing orders now. Worldwide the same, been told only limited cars per dealer per month.

Yikes, we are the first ones in the world, outside Korea!
Bi modal exhaust, delayed maybe next month! Who knows, maybe 2 wks!

Just rang Shannons they do have the Stinger Gt listed. Got my quote. One option as a daily drive the other option as infrequent use.

Me too! Shannons came through right away and Suncorp will have something for me by the middle of next week.
At least I can drive the car home now and if it all works out by the end of next week, can't wait.

hahaha, I definitely will the problem I have is that if it does come next week I won't enjoy it for long as I'm on a trip to the US on the 18th of October for 3+ weeks. I can imagine myself wanting to come home early with withdrawals lol.
If it doesn't come by the time I leave it will be in the showroom for the time I'm away. Cutting it very fine.
