2018 Kia Stinger Dealer and Mall Displays Full Listing (USA)

It looks like these will finally start hitting the midwest next week. One of the kia dealers near me told me yesterday that they are expecting their display unit on Oct. 3rd.

So far I have only seen these show up along the East Coast, West Cosast and Gulf Coast. Excited for them to start moving inward!

Yes! AWESOME! we have seen the show-cars in the central South West area, Dallas, TX, area. If they are to start showing up next week... woooo!

Just got a call that they have one in the showroom at Napleton KIA in Elmhurst, IL.

I received a short voicemail from Central Kia Plano today:

"This is <salesguy> from CKP. You asked me to let you know when we got 'em in, and we got 'em in."

I shit you not, that was the entire voicemail, lol!

Like a floor display?

Many thanks to the administrator, Kia Stinger, for setting up this post. Super informative, and I used the info here to find another dealership to check out the car, which was definitely worthwhile.

After sitting in the car and adjusting the seats, mirrors, feeling the materials (which differed slightly from the other model I had seen) and operating the hatch and engine bay, I'm sold. My son is too, lol.

Put my deposit down for the spec I wanted.

Visiting family in the Dallas area and stopped into Patterson Kia in Arlington today to check out their red on red GT. They had it unlocked and open and was able to adjust seats and open the hatch, etc.

I was floored. It looks great in person. Doors, both front and rear, shut with a nice solid sound. Interior material quality is very nice and most switchgear feels quality except for the seat heat/cool switches which felt mushy. Pressed on all of the dashboard trim and very little creaking or cracking noises unlike the current BMW 3 series. Just felt very solid overall.

I found the driving position was perfect for me and rear seat room when adjusted for my size was decent although toe room is very limited when the front seat is lowered all the way down. Trunk space is ample and the hatch design makes this car very practical.

Overall extremely impressed and barring a disappointing test drive or some other option/pricing issues a fully loaded GT will be my next ride.

Thank you very much! I'm glad it's a useful post. Oh and congratulations! :) You're on the way to Stinger ownership!

Did I see that right?! Kia stinger in Denville, NJ? I’m getting chills just thinking bout it. I’ve been following this car for about a year. and it finally feels so close. I’m definitely going to go to Kia dealership and get a closer look?

Just be aware that some dealerships won't allow you to open the door and sit in it. It makes a big difference when you're feeling the car out. Give them a call ahead of time to confirm.

Well, for me, it'll have to wait until a local dealership gets a showroom car or when they start rolling them out. I would love to be able to get more than 15 or so minutes looking at this beauty. But, I start call today, for the whole month, and while I don't always get called out, many of our outages are a 4 hour turn around (4 hours from time of dispatch, to time of repair) and if not, you better have a darn good reason (commercial power, pole down; basically. beyond our control) and "oh, I was in Dallas, 3 hours away, it's gonna take me 6 hours to get on location, that I would have to drive home, get my truck and head to the site." just wouldn't fly. hehehe

Our dealerships probably won't be getting one of the floating showroom cars because our demographics probably wouldn't justify one visiting us. However, I'm still on their "call this maniac first ASAP so he'll quit calling and bugging us about a car we don't have any information on yet" list. LOL

I do recommend to anyone that if one does show up in your neck of the woods to make the trip and see the car in person. Visit with it, ask it how its doing. Strike up a conversation with it. The more you get to know a car, the more you will love it or hate but whichever for you, better to find out now. Oh, and don't forget to bring bread crumbs to feed the sales people. Just don't drop too much crumbs at once, otherwise you will get a whole flock of them around you and then you won't be able to shoo them away!

I made it to Bob King Kia in Winston Salem NC which is already on the list. They have the BEAUTIFUL Deep Chroma Blue, GT V6 version. My fav that may not be avail in US, dealership did not know any info. It had a purple hue in the showroom lights, very special color. Kia if you're watching, please make Deep Chroma Blue available in US. Bob King Kia will let you play with it, open trunk, and moonroof is open, whatever you want except start it and drive it. Sadly i forgot to look under the hood, but I'm not sure if this was an option as I believe the hood release inside was removed. On interior, the top is soft leather and looks feel great. Under is a harder leather (regular, nothing special about it but looks decent). The seats were comfortable and me being 5'3" I was able to adjust the seats to a comfortable position, the hood did not block my vision ahead - exciting! Hope you enjoy the pics, some are similar to others already posted but I figured why not. :) I have a video of the trunk closing also but unfortunately it was too large to post.

Dutch Miller Kia in Charlotte NC also has one. It is red with red interior. They are apparently closed, so I only got a glimpse through the window and it looked beautiful also. Kia if you're listening...Deep Chroma Blue with Red interior would be an amazing combo!
