Kia Stinger - Australia discussions (pre-release)

I too will wait for the Bi Modal exhaust.
Other than mats and anything related to stinger within reason and neccessity.

TINT and Ceramic Paint protection, externally done and lot cheaper too... Found someone who is really good and does performance cars too.

That's a great price - my 'contract' price was $56,990 so where I'm sitting it looks like a huge uplift but given (most) of us are looking at a price around $65k I can live with that - way more than I wanted to spend though....

What I haven't shared with any of you yet (because I know you'll hate me) is that I'm supposed to get FLEET price through work ;);):D:confused: but if you think getting info out of Kia on the car has been difficult.....getting them to even admit they have even heard of the word FLEET is %$#@ing impossible......and I have no doubt it will reflect in my trade-in price....

Just looking at the new specs on the Kia website. Kids are are pissed already as now no heated or ventilated rear seat and just noticed no heated steering wheel. This don’t sound like much but is does in Tasmania where it’s snowing at present. Just another down grade for the Australian stinger and what is with these idiots putting a space saver as the spare. With the roads in Australia we need a real full size spare.

I thought they bred you tough in tassie? Do agree about the full size spare though. Id just turn the heater up or wear gloves like we did England many moons ago.
 
As the car builder on the website is running I went and seen my dealer this morning and he told me that the dealerships are not allowed to sell higher than those prices shown online so my price was adjusted slightly which was a win in any case.
After he adjusted the price accordingly and then by adding the Bi-Modal exhaust it will not bring it into LCT territory and will remain at the lower threshold for stamp duty (Victoria) as well. Ill be adding the other dealer fit options later.

I noticed the cars were missing the heated steering wheel and rear heated seats by zooming in on some photo's of the cars at the Australian Launch. I also noticed they have omitted the central front passenger seat adjustments as shown on the Korean cars but I haven't seen any overseas models with the drivers seat Bolster adjustment as shown in our GT Models which I think is pretty cool.

When I was a kid we had it tough, so tough we had to sit on the roof racks....and if we were lucky Dad would strap us down with an old occky strap, dinner was all the bugs you could catch and we'd pray for rain so we'd have something to drink. Bath night meant a drive through car wash - try telling the kids of today that, wouldn't believe you!

We had it so tough we couldn't afford a banjo, we had to strum the one piece of dental floss the family had stretched tight while Dad used it....

Did you notice the rear indicators.......

I'm guessing this is a drawing only and didn't make the finished product.

No final price is done yet. I've known him now for a number of years. His very helpful and honest (that's pretty rare in a car salesman)
