Normally in my '22 Gt-Line, when I activate smart cruise control on the freeway, the lane follow assist (green steering wheel icon) turns on with it.

I turned on cruise control last week and the LFA did not activate. I am able to turn it on manually without issue or any error messages.
Not a big deal, but i liked that the two were paired.
I haven't messed with any settings recently.

Is there a way to link the two again?

That's interesting, I don't think I've ever had that happen on my 22 GT2. It's been a while since I used cruise control, so I guess it's possible I always turned on LFA first (I use it much more than CC), but I didn't think they were linked.

I know you can toggle between the smart radar cruise that maintains a gap behind cars, and regular dumb cruise, so maybe it's a setting you can change in the menu?

Ill tool around in the menu again. Hopefully i just missed it. Weird that it suddenly changed, maybe it was an wireless update?

Not on a '22+. There is no dumb cruise. Unless its missing from the gtline and available in the gt's.

Strange ...I love using the autonomous mode steering with radar cruise...

I get to text and eat my breakfast while the car drives itself to the airport every month 😈

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
It is quite possible that there is an auto function for LFA, Lane Following Assist (steering wheel).

Normally on Start the LKA Lane Keeping Assist (two parallel lines) is automatically set and has to be manually switched off

For Lane Following Assist it has to be set manually on each start.

But I was reading in the manual, Navigation -Based Smart Cruise Control NSSC and this opens up the possibility that Lane Following Assist is set so that the car can steer via navigation as long as pressure is maintained on the steering wheel.

I have never tried any of this

I actually wish this didn't happen when I engage cruise. I hate the fact that the lane keep assist kicks in along with the cruise.
How do you unlink them?

The original poster refers to Lane FOLLOWING assist rather than Lane KEEPING assist which are two different things.

Lane Following Assist shown by a steering wheel symbol, keeps the vehicle centered in the lane.

Lane Keeping assist monitors the left and right lane markings and corrects the steering should the vehicle deviate out of the lane without a turn signal operating. Both functions can be used at the same time.

In the My23 Stinger GTs, Lane Keeping Assist is automatically on each start of the vehicle. It has to be manually switched off while Lane Following Assist is automatically off on each start and must be turned on manually.

Both can be turned on or off with the steering wheel icon on the steering wheel. Additionally Lane Keeping Assist can be turned Off or On with a separate dedicated button located driver's side lower dash.

A short operation of the steering wheel mounted button with a steering wheel and a line each side will turn on or off the Lane Following Assist function. A long press of more than 2 seconds will turn on or off the Lane Keeping Assist function. The one button does both functions.

Activating Cruise Control does not activate either function. If Lane Keeping Assist has been selected off prior it stays off when cruise control is activated otherwise it was already On when you started the car.

Activating cruise control does not activate the Lane Following Assist function. It must be manually turned on.

I mentioned earlier the Navigation Smart Cruise Control. The Australian Stingers do not have the Navigation- Based Smart Cruise Control. NSCC, they only have the Smart Cruise Control. SCC
