Per chatgpt JB4 not controlling boost

I had my log checked and chat is telling me the JB4 isn't controlling boost. Car runs fine and fast but chat is showing target psi of 4 and peak actual boost is 16.9.

What is the software version I should be running? It's a 2020 GT2. I have the vampire taps in the red wires. Logs show everything else is good. AFR, timing and so on.

Any suggestions?

ChatGPT is wrong because it does not have the correct context. DME is for BMWs, and "Target" boost on the Stinger is the amount it's trying to add over stock. So 12-13psi from the ECU + 4psi target gives you an expected 16-17psi actual boost.

Additionally, if you don't have wastegate actuator wires, the JB4 isn't doing anything with the wastegates. And the WGDC value is, I believe, the scaling being applied, not the absolute position or duty cycle.

I’ve had my JB4 for a while now just installing it what a difference it makes I’m only a little concerned that I am not really able to read the logs do you know if I am running in a safe range love how fast it is but I really don’t want to hurt my car

What fuel are you running? Your log looks on on Map 2, but you only have one brief WOT pull from about 40-70mph. Usual recommendation is to find some clear road and floor it from around 20-25mph up to 70-80mph, the goal being to get full sweeps through a couple of gears.

Your pull shows no real timing corrections. Ign1 is absolute base timing advance, and ign2-6 are corrections (pulls) relative to that in each cylinder, and you typically care about 3+ degrees of correction (so your 0.8s during your pull are minimal/noise).

General guideline is that Map 1 is for 91 octane, Map 2 for 93 octane, and Maps 3-5 are for E30 mixes (or race fuel/octane boosters). But cars and environmental conditions vary so it's a good idea to do a few pulls and check your logs each time you go up a map, to see if you're safe or running out of octane.

Thanks. I'm running costco 93 gas. I'll do some more pulls and see what I get. It was maybe 35 or so degrees out when I did it.
