Michelin’s cracking

I’m with you 100% on the tread peeling because of poor compound. I was truly responding to Snicklefritz when he asked why did you have such heavily scuffed sidewalls but your rim was spotless. I mean you got a flat/low tire at one point, that doesn’t mean you’re a bad guy. I was just trying to explain to another form member where that damage came from. Drive any tire low and the rim will do that. Especially tires like ours that have such an extremely low profile sidewall It had nothing to do with the peeling tread, separate issue. But I can see how my response got you confused on that.

So much easier believe me bro 😉

Hard to stay reasonable when you have a member whom their opinion counts and no one elses opinion matters...

Hell I'm far from perfect, but I try not to be rude and obnoxious when having a debate.

I was a tyre and wheel aligner tech from 86-88 then again from 2005 - 2010 myself, so I totally concur with your findings 😉

When I'm not away working in the mines I fit tyres/ fit suspensions/ work on people projects/ as well as wash dishes in an Italian restaurant of a night time, just to stay occupied.

This is how I set my alignment up nearly 2yr's ago, so far all my tyre sets have had a perfect wear pattern.

This is your photo. There is clear sidewall wear/damage through the “Michelin” lettering. But go ahead, argue that it’s not. But you’ll be yourself as I’ve learned arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you’re still retarded!
No this is your argument

It's actually a spray of dirt ON BOTH SIDES OF THE FRONT TYRES

ON BOTH TYRES DOH

But that aside because you are "typically" looking for blame other than the tyre

Michelin didn't say it was the side wall

The tyre place didn't say it was the tyre wall

it would have been washed by then anyway

But ignore all the other examples as well that I meticulously posted

But go ahead.

I forgot....you are a tyre technician (whatever that is). What QUALIFICATIONS do you need for that. Huh?

Reminds me the BIN technicians are on the way

better put my bin out................

Here is the response from Michelin......

It’s clear that you have taken all the right steps to check for what could be causing the issue. We have seen this case in the past when the Stinger GT first came out. We found that the Stingers set geometry setup along with the adaptive cruise control and adaptive steering was quite aggressive causing excessive wear issues. The Pilot Sport 4 S does have a softer compound because it is an Ultra High-Performance tyre, along with the aggressive corrections made by the adaptive steering causes this issue only on the front tyres.

We have found that switching to the Pilot Sport 5, which is a high-performance tyre, still has technologies and the performance that would be suitable for everyday driving and for spirited driving on the weekends. It’s still good to take to the track, but obviously it won't perform to the same level as the Pilot Sport 4S.

Kind Regards,
The Michelin Australia Team

Suck that up

Blow it up and notice TWO things

1. The "tyre pattern" is totally different where the spray is indicating it is something different to the tyre pattern. It's a dirt pattern

2 The spray edges are different................if it was a sidewall rubbing it would be CONSISTENT all the way around. The edge varies all over the place

Have a GOOD look this time Sherlock

Still not sure what got you so hoe-stile or what you’re still going on about. I’ve already agreed with you about the poor tire compound causing the edge peeling. Obviously you need to hear you won so….. 🏆

Retard!

That sidewall was scuffed to hell, enough that the lettering is distorted. Sorry, dirt won't do that!

In all my years of working on cars never has there been a more clearer picture of a tyre that has ever been run on under inflated than this... the bloke is a liar plain and simple.

Imagine posting proof on a forum and then denying it claiming it is dirt and calling members names.

Poor guy was so upset with me he had to message me on the side to still call me names. And I’m so in agreement with him about the PS4s being a shit tire. Some people you can’t even agree with. Maybe he just needs a hug!

That's what happens when you try to take the high road, doesn't work with those that can't be convinced they're in the wrong.

Sorry I pissed you guys off

Hopefully you can take a joke

You have bigger problems over there

As someone said "He looks like candy floss someone took a piss in
