Honestly hasn't been an issue thankfully. I'm usually pretty good about judging clearance since my M3 sits significantly lower than this and has carbon splitters up front.Just watch out for those deep gutters and high speed bumps.
What does you plate mean again?
If nothing else, those mark the jacking points a lot better than looking for the pinch welds. Only a blind moron could possibly miss the jacking points with those installed. I'll look into this one. How tightly are they fitted?Installed Perrin jack pads on the Stinger. They are advertised for Subaru but worked great on my car. Makes it so much easier to jack the car up now and not damage anything.
That's because, Perrin is a performance shop in California that specializes in all things Subaru....A hundred bucks?! All search returns are for Subaru. Kind of strange. Still interested, though ...
I tried finding the jack pads on Amazon or somewhere else but no other company has the exact design made by Perrin. I was ok with spending the extra money since now I don't have to worry about locating a sturdy jacking point and can use any jack.
Getting the side skirts crinkled is a real genuine concern with these cars...Yes, the fifth item in the kit is an OEM jack stand adapter. I wouldn't have any use for that - or would I, trying to use the jack that comes with the car? But it is a pleasing thought to extend the jacking points down out of the holes in the rocker panels. Every time I've gone in to have any work done that needs my car in the air, I worry that some idiot tyro mechanic is going to crinkle my rocker panels. Maybe this item is a timely reminder that I can actually do something about that fear. It's going to be over two hundred bucks, though, because, two Stingers. Ha hah.
Yes, for sure. But I asked a question, will these pads work with the emergency jack that comes with the Stinger? How does the OEM adapter work with the emergency jack?Getting the side skirts crinkled is a real genuine concern with these cars...
Those Perrin jack-pads could really help alleviate the idiocy, eliminate the concern
Looks like the pads would work with the OEM jack if you use the included "OEM jack tool"Yes, for sure. But I asked a question, will these pads work with the emergency jack that comes with the Stinger? How does the OEM adapter work with the emergency jack?
They talk about the jack pads being universal at 5:09 in the video.Looks like the pads would work with the OEM jack if you use the included "OEM jack tool"

Thanks guys for the quick response. This all looks good, except the price, ugh.Yes it comes with adapter to work with factory trunk jack. The adaptor sits in the jack slot where the pinch weld would go.
Apparently this is also common on some Camaros.... For much much cheaperThanks guys for the quick response. This all looks good, except the price, ugh.
