Hi,

I just installed the BMS 450WHP kit on my 2019 GT1 and am running 93 octane. I was hoping someone could take a look at this log and let me know if I’m all set to keep running map2. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Pretty knock limited at the moment. Either E30 mix or stay with map1.

Thanks for the reply this is another map 2 log this time with e30. Does this look better?

This map is too much for your car/fuel. What spark plug? Gapped? Fuel?

Try to reset your trims settings, drive normally for a while and reloge.

The spark plugs are the HKS M45IL gapped to .022. The log I posted last Thursday was on 93, the log from last night was E30.

Not to sound like a complete idiot but how do I reset my trim settings?

If you have Ek1, you can use it. If not, disconnect your battery (-) for 10-15 minutes.

Sometimes, it helps. But remember to drive for a while (like 50 miles), making gentle pulses. You can display the corrections on the JB4 app Ign2-6 and see how they change with each pull.

Will do, thanks for the help.

Putting it out there that I never did either of those things to begin with, could that be part of my problem? The video I watched when installing told me to lock the car for 15 minutes and take the key more than 15' away for 15 minutes so that's what I did originally.

To reset ECU adaptation settings You have to disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes. It should help. In memory, there are settings from the previous spark/fuel. By doing this, you accelerate "new teaching".

There should be no reason to have with HKS and 93/E30 corrections like that. You can log map0 and see what your car is doing in the "stock" mod.

So I disconnected the battery as instructed and did some driving around in map2 before doing some 2 pulls. Is this looking better.

Yup. That 0.8 deg is adaptation period. So it's absolutely clean now.

So the 3’s in cylinder 6 are nothing to be concerned about? Trying to learn more about this as I go.

Very minimum comparing with where you at before. What plugs and gap are you running?

HKS .022.

This may have nothing to dye with anything but when I put the plugs in I broke the coil pack on cylinder 6 and replaced it with an Amazon cheapy.

Just get the newer style ones from lap3 or lozic. They're amazing.
