Update: 1200+ miles with no issue, and I have not regapped my
spark plugs and i only run 93 octane.
The modes mention below are
Stinger mode/RaceChip mode as they are independent of each other.
I have tried a variety of the modes my favorite being
Comfort/Eco mode at the moment. Just took a 200 mile round trip drive that i did before the race chip installation and saw gains of 4 to 5 mpg with cruise set to 79 mph (Yes i did the math after the fill up). When i ran
Eco/Eco mode i saw the exact gains as i saw in
Comfort/Eco mode, im not sure what to make of this. I have spent most of my time in comfort/sport mode about 700 miles and find it the best during my everyday commute, there is just too much traffic. An although i love
Sport/Race mode it has been raining here almost every day the last month. I have put on maybe 200 miles in race mode but can really only use it stoplight to stoplight. Im hoping to get out on some of the back roads with this thing as soon as we get out of the wet portion of spring.
Also im still planing on getting this thing to the dyno real soon while this car is still stock.
