Mine certainly seems to be showing early stages of failing again. -_-I have this leak too on a 2018 with 60,000km. So... this is gonna be a recurring issue? I don't see why it won't just fail again.

wtf.. 25k later?I replaced my oil filter housing/cooler in Jan 2023 @ 135,000km (it was leaking badly and left a small pool of oil on ground) and now my new one is starting to show signs of a minor leak again @ 160,000km. Wtf
I've looked under a 2019 GT2 with about ~40,000 miles and it's dry so I don't think it's completely hopeless, but it is definitely not a good omen.My son just called and said his 2019 GT1 with 64k miles has a leak in the water pump and around the oil filter housing. He is wondering if thats part of the 100k power train warranty, does anyone know.
I hope this isn't telling me that my 2022 GT1 will develop the same issues soon?
unless the lines are damaged there is no need to replace themLooks like I am the next victim of leaking filter housing. I ordered housing and cooler, but I can't find the numbers for those 2 coolant lines. Can anyone help me with that?View attachment 85823
Awsome! Thank you! After 6 years and 130k miles it can't be a bad idea to replace them as well, just to be safe. And probably I will replace serpentine belt too. To take the belt off, you need to disconnect one of these coolant lines.unless the lines are damaged there is no need to replace them
part numbers are 254693L200 and 254693L210
Finally did it today.
It was the gasket that is between the oil cooler and oil filter housing. Job is a pain, but you do not need to drain all of the engine oil or coolant as the manual says.
Having the front of the car up on ramps then just draining the oil filter housing no other oil will leak out. Then 2 hose clamps on the oil cooler lines stops the coolant from coming out. What you see in the pictures is whatever coolant was left in the cooler
Probably. Just a little tricky to properly torque it to the assemblycan this also be done without cracking the waterlines if you are not replacing the cooler?
Did you replace the filter housing also?I replaced my oil filter housing/cooler in Jan 2023 @ 135,000km (it was leaking badly and left a small pool of oil on ground) and now my new one is starting to show signs of a minor leak again @ 160,000km. Wtf
I have the same issue at 94000 would this be covered under warranty?I had mine replaced last year at around 135,000km. Sources the parts myself and got my mechanic to install. In total it was around $500 CDN to replace the oil cooler/filter housing + install.
It should beI have the same issue at 94000 would this be covered under warranty?
You can't separate the oil cooler from the oil filter housing without removing it. it's almost impossible to get to the back 2 boltscan this also be done without cracking the waterlines if you are not replacing the cooler?
ProbablyI figured if you pull the oil housing off the block can you then get to all the bolts you need on the cooler and NOT have to break the waterlines, then replace the 2 oil seals?
