Borla Exhaust for Kia Stinger

Not sure if I have the tech stuff sorted out .... lets give this a try.... Coconut Rob seems like it is brief as you climb up from about 35 but honestly probably not even worth mentioning. To my ear this exhaust sounds great... significantly louder than stock but not annoyingly loud by any means. Sounds really nice on startup IMO

When you get the chance can you please do a sound clip with the phone or video cam next to the exhaust outside and rev it up? I know you may need assistance so don't rush it. I just want to hear the comparisons to the Sema Car.

Don't rush it but when you get the opportunity could you please do a sound clip outside next to the exhaust and rev her up. Just want to compare notes with the Sema car. thanks!

Sounds beautiful, would you say the noise is a bit too much when going on road trips? I love it for just driving around day to day but I worry if I do any trips I often drive up to Virginia from Florida.

When I had the JunBL exhaust, I found that cruising in comfort mode is when I really wanted to turn off the exhaust. I wonder how is the Borla in the same conditions.

If you arent stomping on the gas it is louder than stock but not obnoxious... how you drive it really determines the volume level... IMO

Honestly, I would suspect they would be similar... Junbl at least has a bi-model version... for about $1800 US tho... For now I like the Borla... I figure I can always switch it up later if it gets to be too much.

The Borla sounds much better, from what I saw in the clips.

I think it really is a very subjective issue...I am finding I can regulate the volume after arriving at cruising speed by slow gradual speed adjustments with the gas pedal... It is loud when accelerating ....settles down when your speed levels out.

After 12 hours of driving would you say it's loud enough it might cause ringing? My old charger exhaust was a bit drony so over time your ears would even start ringing.

Now if this had an EVC option I’d be in. I agree this sounds better than the Jun BL, but still holding out hope for another EVC or bimodal option.

Great buy. It sounds absolutely amazing.

Do the modes have any effect on the exhaust sounds? Such as putting it into Eco mode or comfort does it sound any quieter?

I messed with this a little this morning...first I would say you will not need the exhaust electronic enhancement any more. Next the drive modes only effect the volume of the exhaust in terms of varying the gas pedal response and the rpm of the transmission shift points. I think what is more important is how smoothly or abruptly you use the gas pedal...

I am... I think it was a good upgrade... it took a couple days to get the hang of throttle control as it relates to volume level... really how hard you drive the car determines the volume level with this exhaust.
