Instead of the Mach-E, what if Ford made a 4dr Mustang GT?? Would you have bought that instead? I always thought Ford should have done that instead of the Mach E. I probably would be driving that instead.
I mean ford did have the Focus RS and the Taurus SHO a few years back. SHO is pretty much a Ford StingerInstead of the Mach-E, what if Ford made a 4dr Mustang GT?? Would you have bought that instead? Yup, most definitely in a heartbeat. I bought the stinger because I need AWD, somewhat decent fuel economy, and 4 doors for work purposes. If Ford had a performance contender I’d be on it.Instead of the Mach-E, what if Ford made a 4dr Mustang GT?? Would you have bought that instead? I will never personally own a Ford product, so it's moot for me.Instead of the Mach-E, what if Ford made a 4dr Mustang GT?? Would you have bought that instead? I always thought Ford should have done that instead of the Mach E. I probably would be driving that instead.
KIA badge definitely didnt help but everything about the car is sporty, low slung, hard to get in out of with fancy brakes and lots of power, it's just not going to appeal to the masses, nor do I think that was KIA's objective anyway. It was just a look what I can do car for them to help flip the brand impression everyone had about KIA.My gut tells me one of the problems with the Stinger is the Kia badge.
Both Kia and Hyundai are still on a lot of peoples don't buy list, mostly because of what the Koreans put on the road 25-30 years ago.
Once a reputation has been established, it's very difficult to change.
The opposite is true as well. I know lots of people that buy Hondas and Toyotas without looking at anything else.
They are buying the name plate, regardless of how bad the actual product may be.
If the Stinger had a different badge on the trunk lid, I'm betting sales would have been a lot higher.
Et tu?The first and last ford product in this family was some 30 years ago. Never again!
OMG so true! Damn state inspection constantly telling me the tie rods/ball joints had to be replaced because there was too much play in the steering wheel. 1 year later, same issue. Finally found an inspection station that knew about the issue and didn't fail me constantly for it.When the fords still had that f?cked up steering
