Cost to replace Brembo brakes at dealership?

For general use, go ceramic for cleanliess and wear. I've used Autozone, since they have a limited lifetime warranty on the Duralast ones. Track use, semi-metallic all the way. I've used Wagner, and they have held up well on longer tracks and high speeds like Road America.
Does Brembo have ceramics?

These prices seem a bit high. There are multiple aftermarket vendors online that sell performance parts and would be significantly cheaper. Swapping brake pads is no more difficult than changing a tire.

Even swapping the rotors is not much more difficult. I am not certain if the Stinger has any "wear sensors" or not or if so, how many. Those are the only items that may cause a bit of "headache" depending on how installed and how the wires are routed around.

i have always used EBC pads on my cars. and, yes, changing the pads is super easy. why pay a mechanic for something like that. i have done them, years ago, sitting on the curb when i didn't have a garage in brooklyn. nothing like street side mechanical work.

I didn't see tht EBC had any available break pads for the Stinger 3.3TT AWD, on their site. Is there another place you can order them, or a matching part number.

Yes, go to Khartunerz.

Dealer cost probably 400. I had a scion Xb back in the day and Toyota charged 400 total. 400 does seem high though.
I was just quoted over $600 for just the rear brake pad replacement. Over $400 just for the pads. Crazy. Plan to upgrade and do front and rear for less.

That sounds like a very expensive mechanic. I suggest you try a different mechanic.

Please tell us you weren't going to the stealership for a simple but overpriced rear pad slap

I have a obd2 scanner, I saw this options when I was just looking around.

None of those screens are for a Kia Stinger with Brembo brakes.

Exactly…Speakership! I want there for that but they said those were getting low and would need replacement soon. I just asked how much it would be if they did it. I knew it would be more than I would want to pay but was curious. Ridiculous!

How many miles on this car?
Are your pads actually worn out?
the outer pads are externally visible, with the wheel still attached (depending on the rim)

I would advise...

Only go to the dealer for warranty work.
Never ever for brakes.

Not sure what you mean, I have Kia stinger with Brembos and it did show me those options. It's from 3.5 year ago, I don't remember exactly. For what it's worth, the scanner did not have Stinger in it as it was for older models. I just shared the pictures of what it showed me.

At 28000 miles yesterday on her I bought front and back for $198 replacement for “BREMBO” @ AutoZone for $200. My husband is putting them on today. I called around first and the lowest price I could find was over $500 R&R. 2019 GT1.

I checked auto zone online yesterday and was not an option.

I’m sorry I meant to say “O’Reilly Auto Parts” at the main part store in Cincinnati, the rest of the O’Reilly’s don’t carry them in stock. My husband said that was the easiest set of brake shoes that he ever installed. He said that every car should be that easy.

What pads did you go with? Are they branded?

Were they worn out at such low milage? Do you do all city driving? Or lots of track days?
