I had no idea they had added those directional wheels to the Stinger that will always be backwards on one side. I guess Corvettes in the 80's did the same thing and I wouldn't expect the Stinger to get all unique wheels like supercars do, but at this price I'd go for a directionless design like they started with rather than do what the VW GTI does.
^^I agree. someone wasn't thinking. At least they match on the same side. I'm not one to change wheels unless there is something significant to be gained from it.
I agree, asymmetric wheels bug me. I would not want these wheels because they look good from the other side but are chopping at the air from this side. the 'y' needs to bend into the wind not scoop it. I know, aesthetics are completely subjective.
Was out for lunch in the Bridgeport area (between Tualatin and Lake Oswego, OR) and saw a red pre-22 Stinger while driving. No photo, unsure of trim, but it had a grey candystripe on the back end of it.
on our way to eat out with our son's family, we passed a parked micro blue premium the spitting image of ours still at home - we were in the gt1. that felt odd, almost like we were seeing our car stolen. that's only the second micro blue premium I have ever seen.

Saw a red grand tourer, that car is a thing of beauty. Love the red with the black accents and the refreshed tail light bar. Just needed the Korean spec sequential turn signals. Not sure if the grand tourer model has the alcantara steering wheel as well but I love the rest of the interior. Only issue is alcantara durability over time. The suede in my Lightning hasn't held up well over time but it's over 20 years old.
I see a blue stinger near Queens Midtown Tunnel almost everyday when I'm on my way to work and back home on the bus. I'm in NY, so jealous of that person can take his stinger to work everyday. Parking is so expensive in Manhattan, plus the toll fee, I can't afford it lmfao.
i saw my favorite stinger ever in utah a few days ago. ive never seen one like it. couldnt get pictures, im sure i could pull off my dash cam, it kinda looked like a mod'd tribute edition, but the license plate said something like stungu or something. we drove beside each other for a minute, i had to turn, the person rev'd it as i was turning. sounded nonstock, sounded awesome. if you're on this forum stungu plates in utah, your stinger is amazing. i didnt want to be a nerd and roll my windows down or act stupid, so i just admired from within my stinger.
I rarely see another stinger. A few weeks ago I pulled up to a light and there was an ascot green (I think)( Sun was really bright) in front of me. I have a gts. Firs t stinger I have seen in over a year
Saw a white one parked in the lot at Extreme Tint Superstore on Lambert in Whittier this a.m. Must work there, since they were also caught on GoogleMaps last year.
Been seeing quite a few recently actually. Came across another GTS for the first time on the NJ Turnpike a couple weeks ago. Got a glimpse of a ceramic silver parked while I was headed to the comic book store in Somerville, NJ. Then another ceramic silver GT-Line not too far from there. Exchanged the Stinger Guy (TM) thumbs up with both of the drivers.
