Mando SDC EDS10

This mando device looks like a pretty solid plug and play upgrade.
I haven’t done enough research for springs or coils, but thinking I might pick this up next.

Do most of you just run this with upgraded sways?

I use the ECS10 with all stock suspension components.

I love mine.
Love being able to set the profile to whatever I want, whenever I want.

ONLY negative thing I can say is....
When switching phones (upgrading from S20 to S23Ultra), I could find no way to export or save my created custom profiles from my old phone
I had to recreate all the custom profiles on my new phone manually.

Not a huge deal, but I do wish there was a "backup/restore" function built into the app, for when users change phones.

This might behave differently in the iDevice world, I can only speak to Android.

If that’s the only negative I can live with that!

After reading through this thread it sounds like even the base profiles it comes with are worth the investment.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

As for myself. I only have the Mando Box. The suspension is plenty firm, however, I would like some springs and sway bars.

iPhone seems to have the same lack of copy/paste.

For most, though, the Basic configuration, which is much simpler to set up, will suffice. If you need speed-dependent stiffness changes, you'll need to do the extra work in the Advanced configuration.

Word of warning... I think I remember creating an Advanced configuration, then going to Basic configuration to see what it reflected (which looked like the stock initial state), then going back to Advanced configuration only to find that it, too, was back to stock initial state...losing the work I put in to set it up.

Once you have a few good configurations (Mando Sport, Mando Comfort, aggressive/track, super soft for the mother-in-law), you never really need to touch them much again.

Yup, good call.
Happened to me too once. Be sure to never click "basic" accidentally if you are editing an "advanced" profile.

What I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want, though, is CarPlay (and the Android equivalent) integration.

Something simple: Seven tiles...One that reads "Connect" if the device isn't connected (the other 6 tiles would be unavailable) or "Disconnect" if the device is connected (the other 6 tiles would be available) and 6 tiles for the 6 configurations (blue-Comfort, red-Sport, and four green-User-defined Name).

No editing allowed...just a single screen smash to change suspension when you find some twisties or when you pick it the inlaws at the airport.

With the cell phone perpetually in the closed center console charging pad area, if you're alone in the car, it's kinda stupid to not pull over to get the phone, open the app, and select the configuration.

Can anyone help make a poor slob's dream come true?

I too use the Mando ECS10. I did extend the wheel base with 20mm spacers but mostly that just looks cool. Not much for extra stability.....But the MANDO Box is def. a good upgrade

+1

I too, need this.

the fact that i have to change the settings with my phone instead of a knob on the wheel or button in the dash is one of the reasons i havent bought one yet.

Yeah, too bad we can't control / overwrite the existing OEM 2 suspension modes.

This is exactly what is missing from a perfect package. I would encourage all the owners here to post a review on their respective app stores and asking nicely for a Carplay / AA integration. It may not get any attention from the developers, but we can sure try ..

Great! Thanks for the info! I'll do some tracing in youtube videos to determine which black wire goes to which connection for the steering wheel connector. I think I have a wiring diagram booklet for the stinger saved somewhere too.
Hey, were you able to work this out? I'm adding one from an earlier Stinger to my 22 g70 but the tap harness has different ends to the stinger.

Hi Guys,
Sorry to chime in. I just wanted to let you know if you go back through this thread (pages 5-7) one of the guys in this group put some great installation diagrams in here to help me install it. If I can do it. LITERALLY anyone can.. Enjoy the Mando Box. it is well worth the $$$

Hey Friends, I'm very new here and learning a lot from all you clever people.

I have a question and sorry if this has already been asked and answered..

Is there an Android Auto/CarPlay version of the app? I'd love to be able to adjust the settings from my car screen as opposed to illegally pulling out my phone and using that.

For those interested in joining me to request Apple CarPlay (or Android Auto) integration for the ESC10 app (only for setting selection, not setting editing, of course), I’d suggest leaving a note on their customer feedback page at:
Thank you. This has answered my earlier question. If only I had read quicker.
