insist on it. it's your money after all, if you have over 60,000 miles. I don't know why they would argue with you on this, it's a simple matter of checking the coil packs and they won't look good if they are bad, hah hah.
experience supports this. new plug went bad within two weeks and was replaced and went bad. coil pack and a new plug have not shown any sign of failure in a year
Coil pack and new plug in and we are get to go. After reflecting on my time and journey with the stinger I’ve realized I have put alot into this vehicle. New turbos, new short engine block, new oem plugs, and a new perspective moving forward. Leave this car stock besides intakes and exhaust. As a dd it’s too much of gamble to play with the tuning game. I’ve decided to keep the stinger for now since things are running smoothly. I told myself to give the stinger a month or two to see if something pops up and then decide to jump ship. For now it’s Kia for life lol. In all seriousness the car feels great under boost now, silky smooth and clean. Under construction ….
A journey indeed. If you are in the Maryland area I highly recommned Kia of Fredrick. Didn’t have any problems with my Afe intakes and exhaust on my car when I did go through this.
Drove the hell out of it yesterday testing it. Felt smooth and good. If you are stock besides intakes and exhaust would you still get another just to have as well as oem plugs ?

Factory ones are Denso, I don't know what those are. I just got one passenger and one driver side (they are different) from KIA parts and plugs off Rock Auto.

After tuning a couple cars in the past I decided the same 'stock' route. Not worth the potential hassle for a car I need to work each and every day. Most people who tune/mod their daily drivers I think come to the same conclusion, often as a result of having a technical issue and being without the car for a while only to realize this.
It's why I went with the Stinger, it had the performance I was looking for stock.

Tbh bro I got in the tuning game late and it hit me hard once I found out all the things you can do to a vehicle. I completely agree especially if the car is your daily. To sum it simply for me more power for the car is asking for something to go wrong. The stinger stock is an amazing car imo and well worth the performance.
You and @Snicklefritz inspired me bro foreal. Besides intakes and exhaust I’m done with touching the engine again. Rather have peace of mind and reliability than random issues popping up.
